"You'll see." Spain glared "You'll see."

England sneered at the man below him and laughed a laugh. An laugh intoxicated with power.

"See what? Your dead! Your nothing! You've lost!" He laughed again. That psychotic laugh.

"Good bye Sp-" Before England could strike his enemy, as if on que the door flew open and the room flooded with soldiers. As soon as England saw what uniforms the men had on he let go of Spain and attempted to flee.

And just like that a new battle had started.

England looked far into the ocean.

"This is the pirates life I've chosen." He muttered.

Hoist the colours high

"I claim this land for Spain!" A man declared stabbing a pole with a flag waving slightly into the ground. Cheering soon followed. Spain loved this. His people celebrating. His flag waving on a new land no one, namely England had even seen before. Spain admired his flag, his colours. Waving there. Waving...

The moon was held up in the sky by the stars while Spain held the personification of his newly found land in his arms.

"England will never get you." He whispered soothingly.

Spain was wrong. Dead wrong. Eventually England conquered the 'Spanish' land.

"I'll get it all back. After all the pirates life always includes revenge." Spain said as he sailed back to his home.

Heave ho, thieves and beggars.

"Filthy rats!" England hissed, as he rummaged through his pockets searching for his, what he believed to have been stolen, wallet. When he couldn't find it he kicked the muddy ground in anger. England felt something grasp his ankle.

"H-help.." Came a voice from below. England snapped his head down.

"Bloody beggar!" He kicked the poor beggar in the face.

When Spain and England's bosses payed more attention to land and not the the citizens the poverty rates soared up. For both Spain AND England.

'But' They thought simultaneously 'This is the pirates life I love.'

During the entire UN meeting Spain nor England payed any attention. Which was normal for Spain but quite unusual for England. They just couldn't stop thinking about the glory days. The fame, The power, The land. It was amazing as they both claim.

"Yo England! Meetings over!" America called out, awakening England from his reminiscing. On the other side of the room Romano did the same thing to Spain. Except a little more harshly..

"Si, Im coming." Spain replied.

"You git! Don't scream, Im coming!" Came England's response.

And just for a moment right at the door, A Brit and a Spaniard's eyes met. Yes, truly the pirates life had been great. And it will live on forever.
