"The Lady or the Tiger"
Her lover's eyes glittered up at her with thanks, and he confidently walked up to the door on the right hand side of the stadium. As soon as the latch on the door was open, it was thrust outwards, with the same amount of fury as that of a mother watching her children die a slow, painful death. This caused the accused man to go flying into the stadium walls, making him slip into a state of deep unconsciousness. The proud beast leapt from the room with a terrifying beauty that astounded the audience.
The audience mourned the loss of this brave, intelligent individual. The sorrow of the princess was dramatically deeper that of the rest of the crowd that had gathered in the stadium on that fateful day. She knew that she could not live with herself after what she had done that day, but she also knew that she could not live knowing that the man she loved, would be in the arms of another.
The princess's memory of her beloved dying in the stadium at the claws of the tiger would haunt her for the rest of her mortal life. She knew that her "prince charming" would wait for her in the nether world (the world of the dead) so that one day they could be together evermore. Without further ado, the princess stole away to the armory. She scarcely noticed as she cut her arms and legs on the many sharp edges around her (for it was an armory that had many swords and the like stored in this forsaken place). Finally she had found which had been seeking: a small, but deadly dagger laced with poisin. With her heart aching for her beloved, eyes glistening with tears, she whispered to herself "I'm leaving my human life to be with you evermore" and with that she grasped the weapon firmly with both hands, pointed the blade at her chest, and finally to in one last shuddering breath before plunging the cold hard metal deep into her chest. And forever more will their love last and their souls be intertwined.
