Eobard Thawne ran out of the time portal, with Barry Allen close behind him. Thay ran into Henry and Nora Allen's home.
"Mom!? MOM!?" young Barry said, running down the stairs
"Barry, get out of here!" Henry said. "Run, Barry, run!" Future Barry flashed his past self out of the house.
"Oh, crap," future barry said, fading away.
Thawne killed Nora Allen, and then realized his speed was gone.
"Gideon, what's going on"
"It appears that in this timeline, The Flash never existed, meaning you didn't have a reason to get superspeed," Gideon said.
"What else happened to the timeline?"
"I can't be certain. It appears that you've accidentally travelled even farther back just before losing your speed. I've estimated that, because of your messing with the timeline, the planet Krypton will explode in 7 years. Also, there is a 83% chance that a man named Howard Stark will create a company known as Stark Tech, and will become the Iron Man."
"Damnit, now the Time Masters will be after me too!" Thawne shouted. "Gideon, inject the remaining V-Nine into my body." Thawne regained his speed, and ran back to the future. Or, at least, that's what he had planned. Instead, the V-Nine started to run out by the time he was in 2001. The time portal spat him out. "Gideon, what year is it?"
"It's currently 2001."
"Where is Dr. Harrison Wells right now?"
"He's about to drive down this very street with his wife, Tess Morgan."
"Good." Thawne smiled.
8 Years Ago (2002), in a random New York City middle school.
"Hello, class! I'm Mr. Gates, your homeroom teacher. Happy first day of middle school, everyone! How are you all doing?" There was a collective groan from the class. "Alright, not the answer I was looking for, but… let's just move on to the attendance. Just raise your hand when I say your name. Barry Allen… Alex Danvers, Kara Danvers… Peter Parker… Cisco Ramon, Caitlin Snow… wow, only 18 people? This is the smallest class I've ever taught!" Mr. Gates chuckled. "There's no better way to start a school year than to get to know your classmates. I want you all say your name, and to tell me something about yourselves. Yes Peter?"
"Hey everyone, I'm Peter Parker. My parents died when I was 5, and, just recently, My Aunt and Uncle adopted Barry. I also really like parkour." Then, Cisco raised his hand.
"Cisco?" Said Mr. Gates?
"My name is Cisco Ramon. There isn't really anything that special about me. I'm just a normal person."
"Don't say that, everyone is special in their own way!"
"Thanks, Mr. Gates," Cisco said. Eventually, everyone had said something about themselves.
"There are 2 people we have yet to hear from. Barry Allen and Kara Danvers." Alex and Peter went up to Mr. Gates, and talked to him for a moment. "Barry and Kara do not need to talk today if they don't want to. Sorry for putting pressure on you."
The rest of the school day was normal. They met the remainder of their teachers, most of whom were nice people. At lunch, Barry and Kara were both sitting alone. Well, Barry was sitting alone until Peter came to talk to him.
"Hey, Barry, how's it going?" Peter said. He may not have shown it in class, but Peter Parker did actually care for Barry Allen, and not just out of pity. Peter saw Barry as someone he could relate too; the only issue was that he knew it would take a while before Barry would feel comfortable talking to him about his parents.
"Not great. Nobody here seems to like me. Or you, for that matter" Barry replied
"Well that's just rude." Peter and Barry sat together in silence for a few minutes, until Peter said. "Look, Barry, I know you won't like to hear this, but you can't let your mom's murder get in the way of you making friends!"
"I'm not letting that get away. The others are."
"Caitlin and Cisco won't care. Trust me, I know them." Barry didn't respond. "Fine, if you're really that worried, then talk to Kara. The knows what you've been through. I know what Alex said to Mr. Gates about Kara. She's practically gone through the same thing as you."
"Fine, I'll try talking to her. But, I have one question. Do you believe that my dad actually killed my mom?"
"Of course not, and neither do Aunt May and Uncle Ben. They knew your dad. He was a good person."
"Thanks, Peter. It's nice to know that at least some people believe me. And it's even better to know that those people are the ones that took me in. I'll go talk to Kara." Barry got up, and walked over to Kara.
"Hi. I'm Barry Allen"
"I don't really want to talk to anyone right now."
"Peter told me about what happened last year. I'm sorry"
"Everyone says that. Nobody actually cares. What do you want?"
"I do actually care, because I can relate. My mom died a year ago, and my dad was wrongfully imprisoned for her murder. So I completely understand what you're going through." Kara looked up as he said that.
"Oh. Sorry about being so rude."
"Can I sit down here?" Barry asked.
"Sure." Kara replies. Barry sat down next to her. "Why did you tell me about your parents?"
"Remember when Peter and Alex talked to Mr. Gates? He overheard what Alex said. Why didn't Alex tell you about me?"
"We aren't exactly close. She's called me some… less than kind things before."
"Really? Why?"
"I don't know. For some reason Alex just seems to hate me."
"I'm sorry. She'll come around eventually." Barry said
"Really? Oh yeah, you must know from Peter. Riiight."
"Oh, no. Peter's always been really nice to me. I think he kinda sees me as an actual brother. Were the same age, and we can kinda relate to each other. His parents- no, it's not my business. he'll tell you himself one day. Point is, she'll come around because you seem like a nice person. Once she gets over the initial anger because you're her adoptive sister, she'll like you. It happened to a person I know, and it'll happen to you."
"You're really lucky." Kara said. She truly wished that Alex would eventually see her as a friend, if she can't see her as a sister.
"I know. Peter's really nice. Alex seems nice too. Remember, she's the one who told the teacher not to ask you. I think she's starting to warm up to you."
"Really?" Kara said, as the bell rang. "Thanks, Barry. It was nice getting to know you."
"You too. Wanna hang out tomorrow?" Barry replied.
"Yes. Definitely."
That day, while they might not have realized, the strongest relationship in the multiverse started. As best friends, and one day, even more.
A/N So this is my first fan fiction. What do you think of it? It is a DC/Marvel crossover, based on the MCU versions of the Marvel characters, and the Arrowverse versions of the DC characters. The character's personalities are the same, but their birthdays and locations have changed. This was mainly done because I thought it would be really cool if Peter and Barry were brothers, because of how much they have in common. While there will be lots of other characters, the main ones will be Barry and Kara. I may like Marvel more than DC, but I wanted this to be a SuperFlash/Karry-based story. Please Review if you can.
