Disclaimer: Doctor Who isn't mine. If it was things would be quite different. The BBC owns all and I bow before them.

D.O.C.T.O.R.W.H.O

A little piece of metal
So small, so cool in her hand
Yet the pathway to adventure
Anytime, anywhere
The entire universe
In the palm of her hand
Hit the ground running
That's what they did
The Doctor and her

Everything had changed
Her entire world
She couldn't go back
Not to day to day life
Not after witnessing the extraordinary
Not after the Doctor

She wondered how long it would last
Now she had the answer
She thought he might leave
She now held a TARDIS key
He promised not to leave

Why now?
Had something changed?
Not that she was complaining
This is what she wanted
This was her life now
The new normal
Even though it was anything but that
The Doctor and her
The universe in the palm of her hand

A/N: There be my first Doctor Who poetry. I don't really write a lot of (or any) poetry these days but as I was rewatching the Aliens of London this afternoon I was inspired. Reviews appreciated.
