Chapter 1
"Hey Clint do you need anything from the grocery store?" Natasha says. "No I'm good thanks babe" Clint yells from the bathroom. Natasha lets him get away from the little slip of the word babe. "Okay see you soon".
Hmmmm what should I make for dinner? Natasha thinks. She pays for the grocery and starts heading home.
As she starts descending upstairs she hears moaning coming from her apartment. Natasha cautiously begins to slowly open the door. As soon as it's fully open she see's Clint shirtless on the couch with a girl on top of him. The woman happens right at that moment to look up and see Natasha staring at them. Natasha remains silent. "Nat, baby it's not what it seems" Clint states as he pushes the girl off of him. Natasha remains silent but drops the grocery on the table and heads towards their room. "How could he have done this" she angrily thinks. All those passionate nights when they held each other after hours of making love had come to an end. Natasha finishes packing her clothes and heads out the room. "Nat don't go please let's talk about this" Clint says. Natasha looks up to his face "we have nothing to discuss" and leaves the apartment. Clint just stares at the door rubbing his hands on his face and whispers " what have I done".
Natasha stars dialing Pepper as soon as she's in the car. "Hello, Natasha? Pepper says. Natasha manages to compose herself before stating "Hey Pep do you think I can stay over the tower tonight? "Sure come on over the whole group is here for movie night". As soon as Natasha gets inside the tower she is greeted by Jarvis. "Hello Ms. Romanoff how are you this evening? "I'm fine Jarvis, can you tell me what floor everyone is ? "They are currently situated at Mr. Starks floor. Natasha heads off. The elevator door opens and shows the Avengers watching a horror film. Pepper is laying with Tony one one couch as Steve and Thor were watching on another couch. Bruce was getting something from the kitchen. Bruce is the first one to see Natasha and starts worrying about the state she is in. "Natasha what's wrong why are you crying? He says. Just as he speaks those words Stark stops the movie and everyone looks up at Natasha. "Really guys I'm okay I just need a place to sleep tonight" "yes that's no problem you're always welcome here at the tower Natasha you're an avenger." Steve states. Natasha just nods and starts heading to her floor but before she goes up Tony says "Hey widow where's birdbrain" "he's dead to me" Natasha responds and heads up. Every avenger just silently look at each other with confused and worry looks. "Oh boy, this isn't good" Bruce responds.
Back at their apartment Clint is all alone after forcing Michelle to leave and never speak to him again. "What have I done I've made the biggest mistake in my life. Why did I have to open that door. God Natasha please don't leave me" Clint says as he starts to sob. Back at the tower Natasha is crying in her bed thinking of reasons why Clint could have done this to them.
