Summary: Lucy is upset because Susan doesn't understand and goes to Peter for comfort.

Peter couldn't understand how Lucy was able to deal with being told that she would never go to Narnia again as well as she did. When he was told the same thing he spent days just angry at Aslan. He was over that but he still was unable to find The Lion in his world. Lucy on the other hand seemed calm and would always talk about Narnia, and Tumnus; she was never bitter. She also was convinced that at sometime in the very far future they would go back. Peter thought that that was a bit mad of her.

Lucy had always been different in terms of Narnia though. She was the one who discovered it. She was the one who still insisted it existed when Edmund lied. She was the one who had seen Aslan when no one else could. She knew the right way to go for it. Peter surmised that that must have something to do with her reaction.

Peter was shaken from his thoughts when Lucy walked into his room. "Peter? Do you think I'm Mad? I was talking to Su about Reepicheep and she yelled at me and said I was mad. Then she stormed out of the room." The hurt on her face was almost too much for him to take.

"No Lucy, you're not mad," Peter told her has he pulled her on to his lap and into a hug. "Su just doesn't understand like you do. None of us really can. You're the one who has the strongest bond with Narnia. We all know that."

Lucy smiled. "Sometimes I feel like I am the only one who feels like I can find Aslan here."

"That may be the case Lu. I have faith in you. By the way when you find him here please help me. Feel free to smack me if I say you're wrong or mad. Those are just lies. Remember that okay?"

Lucy nodded grinned and hugged him. "Hey lets go down to the corner store and get some ice cream. I'll see if Ed wants to come too. We can tell you more about our trip." With that Lucy was off and running, her faith in Aslan and herself restored.
