Summary: How does one tell their siblings about a magical land in a wardrobe?

Sometimes words just can't explain

This is real, I'm afraid

Lucy Pevensie could not believe that there was an entire new land in the wardrobe in the spare room. It was mind-boggling; she knew and understood that, but her siblings' lack of trust in her hurt more than anything else. It was hard to explain what had happened to her when she was exploring around the professor's manor. They hadn't seen it. She had. Narnia was so breathtaking Lucy found it difficult to put it into words.

Then the impossible happened. The four Pevensies were playing hide and seek. Lucy ended up in the wardrobe for lack of a better hiding place. Edmund had followed her through and went to Narnia. She wasn't sure what he was doing there but she was glad to have seen Mr. Tumnus again. And now that two of them had seen Narnia perhaps Susan and Peter would believe her now. But Ed let her down. He lied. He said he was just encouraging her. Now no one would ever believe her and she found it impossible to tell them in a better way.

Lucy had always known she was right. When they were running from the MacReady and ended up in the wardrobe, Lucy pushed everyone further back. She may not be able to tell them, but now she had a chance to show them. When Susan and Peter saw Narnia for the first time Lucy knew they understood.
