Title: Too Good To Be
Chapter: 1 – Prologue
Rating: T – Contains content not suitable for children. Strong language. Slash.
Pairings: Wilson/Foreman
Disclaimer: I don't own 'House', no matter how hard I screw up my eyes and attempt teleporting.
A/n: AU. For the purposes of this fic, Foreman does not work at PPTH, and pretty much all the characters are either gay or bi.
OK, this is basically one hugely long story focusing on Foreman and Wilson's relationship, but with a few fuzzy subplots thrown in to make it longer. I mean, to make it more entertaining. I will be changing the 'Pairings' section (above) to correspond with each chapter, as the only one I'm certain of at the moment is Wilson/Foreman.
Oh, and I'm scared of this fic. I really, really am. I have a rough idea of where it's going, but I may possibly ask y'all beautiful people for some suggestions in the near future:D Please review!

Prologue
"Is this seat taken?"
It was a lame line, and he knew it; James Wilson had never been particularly articulate around people he was attracted to…yet he always seemed to be able to get them into bed. Especially at work where his bisexuality was commonly known – every day he had literally scores of men and women clamoring for a night of passion, or two nights if they were lucky. Out of work, it was much more difficult. To get men, anyway. Difficult, but not impossible.
Wilson had had his eye on this one for most of the night. There was something incredibly appealing about his dark, chocolatey skin and those big, round eyes; like a mystery that seemed impossible to solve. And Wilson was determined to be the one to solve it. He had wanted to go over earlier, but his pesky date had taken her sweet time to get bored and go home. And with perfect timing, as it turned out, as it looked like his target was about to do the same.
He looked back at Wilson with those almost-black eyes and replied in a deep but gentle voice, "No."

"Is this seat taken?"
Foreman had wondered whether this guy was ever going to make his presence known; he'd felt those brown eyes burning the back of his head since he'd arrived. At first he hoped he'd be left in peace; he had had a rough day and wanted to be left alone with just his own contemplations for company. But, seven drinks later, he didn't give a crap. Either the guy would come over and introduce himself with some cheesy line, or he would fuck his date in the bathroom. He didn't care which happened, as long as it happened soon.
Sure enough, the date screeched something about being ignored and slammed the door on her way out. Next thing he knew, Foreman was being confronted by a guy so dripping in suavity, he clearly had more than a couple of drinks on his menu.
Foreman had never been a homophobe, but the idea of being gay was still scary to him, having only just discovered it in himself. But, he figured, everyone has to start somewhere. He dragged his eyes up to meet those of the stranger and replied, "No."
