"Now honey, your gunna love it here!" my Mum told me, while pulling up to the curb. "Mum, why couldn't I stay at Minnesota High?" I asked getting out of the car. "Your Father and me met here" she said gazing at the building. "Yuck" I said under my breath. She snapped out of her gaze and opened the boot. "Oh I can't believe my baby girl is actually going here!" Mum said sweeping me into a hug. "Oh Mum, not here!" I said turning red. "Sorry baby!" she said pulling away, while tears were forming in her eyes. "I'm a teenager now mum, I'm fine" I assured her. "I know, oh I promised myself I wouldn't cry" Mum said wiping away her tears. By this time a few people had been watching. "Ok, well I'll write and always ring" I told her smiling. "You'd better honey" she said smiling. "Bye" I said hugging her one last time. She smiled a got in the car. "Bye Jen" she said waving. "Bye" I said under by breath.
It was cold out and I was only wearing Jeans and a baby blue sweater. "Bit cold out eh" a boy wearing a number 96 jersey said. "Just a tad" I said looking at the jersey a bit closely, "Oh wow, my friend had a pic of you on her wall, your names Charlie right". He blushed just a bit, "Yeah, that's right". "Oh, sorry" I said turning red. "Nah, no big, you wouldn't believe how many girls have stopped me in the streets for autographs" Charlie told me, "Oh by the way, whats your name?". "Jennifer, Jennifer Kane" I told him. "Pleased to meet you" Charlie said, "C'mon it's freezing out here, lets go inside" Charlie suggested. "Great idea, I think my knuckles are about to crash in" I joked. "Need some help with your bags?" Charlie asked. "Um,,,if you don't mind, you can carry this" I said giving him one of my suitcase. "No prob, it's a gift from me, welcome to Eden Hall" Charlie said opening the door. I took a last look outside Eden Hall and entered my new school.
I had found my room and locker in the next hour, Charlie had stayed for half an hour but had to leave for class. I opened my closet and found spare coat hangers. "Jeez, that's thoughtful" I said outloud. I heard a knock at my door, "knock, knock" someone called out. I opened the door and came face to face with Charlie. "Hey, c'mon, I wanna show you some other Ducks" he said taking my hand. "Who?" I asked. "Adam, Guy, Russ, Connie and Julie" Charlie said stopping he saw them, "Hey Guys, this is Jennifer Kane". "Hi" I said looking at them. I got a chorus of Hi's and Hey. "Make her feel welcome" Charlie said grinning at me. I smiled and bit my lip. "Hi, my names Connie and that's Julie" a girl with brown hair said while pointing to the girl with the blond hair, "and that's Adam, Guy and Russ". "Hi" I said smiling again, my mouth was getting sore of smiling so much. "You play Hockey" asked a cute kid with blond hair. "Its OK" I answered. "Cool" he said blushing. "Got a favorite team?" another kid with Blond hair asked. "Yeah, I like the Mighty Ducks" I replied blushing, "Your Guy right?". "Yep" he said smiling. "Cool" I replied, wow this kid was hot.
