Harry Potter hated dragons. They were needless, scary, and had endangered his life at one point. His boyfriend, though, loved dragons. He worked at a dragon reserve in Romania, and Harry was the only thing he adored more than dragons.
When Charlie invited Harry to the Dragon Reserve in Romania, he couldn't refuse. His letter sounded so hopeful, so full of love, that he complied.
That was how he ended up watching dragons with Charlie at three am in the morning.
"They're beautiful," Harry whispered, staring at his boyfriend lovingly.
"Mhm," he shrugged, whilst looking at the dragons.
"I have been thinking," Harry said seriously. "I am in love with your sister. I'm sorry."
"What?" The older man cried, outraged.
"That got your attention," he smiled affectionately. "I was joking. My love for you is bigger than your collection of dragon things."
"I doubt that," Charlie rolled his eyes, but smiled happily.
"I mean it, Charlie," Harry took his hand. "You mean the whole world to me." The twenty-five year old got down on one knee. "Which is why I have got to do this. Charlie Something Weasley, will you marry me?"
He opened his mouth in surprise. "Of course I do, Harry!"
