Just an idea for a supernatural situation in 21 Jump Street. No, not the show, although I'm going with their rules for vampirism. I plan to use this situation in a fic that I have an idea for, though I'm not currently working on it. 21 Jump Street belongs to Stephen J. Cannel. Takes place directly after Booker tells Hanson that joke at the end of "Fun With Animals".
Tom Hanson and Dennis Booker watched the girls on stage. The new officer looked at the man sitting next to him.
"Tom," Dennis said.
"Yeah?" Tom asked.
"I know why you didn't even like me from the get-go," Dennis stated.
"'Cause you're a total loony," Tom told him.
"No. 'Cause you thought I was tryin' to take over your turf," Dennis corrected. Hanson looked at him. What was he getting at?
"What are you talking about?" he wondered.
"Well, I know that unofficially Jump Street's become your pack," the other man continued. Hanson became rigid.
"Hey, relax. I'm not tellin' anybody that you're a vampire," Booker assured, leaning in so that no one could see what he was saying.
"What? You're---" Hanson's protest trailed off as Booker discreetly showed his fangs. "Oh," he said.
"Just so we're clear. Jump Street's yours. I'm the newbie," Booker said.
"As long as we're clear," Hanson accepted. They fell silent. Then, "Hey, Book. I ever tell you 'bout the time I let Russell Buckins talk me into fighting a bear?"
"No," was the answer. "What happened?" Booker questioned.
"Well, we were on a road trip and---" Hanson's voice became indistinct.
