"SIT" Kagome yelled, sending me into the ground. "Where were you? I've been waiting in my time for you to come and get me. You were probably off with Kikyo again, weren't you?" She ranted.
I pulled myself up and glared at her when the effects wore off, "I wasn't with Kikyo." Kagome stormed off angrily obviously she didn't believe me. I sighed, it was impossible to please her. Even more determined than before she found me, I followed Kagome to town and into Kaede's hut. Kagome had sat down between Sango and Miroku with Shippo in her lap.
"I'm going for a walk." When they all ignored me, I walked away without a second glance. I went silently into the forest, hurrying to the meeting place. I was already late. Kagome had caught me headed to the forest earlier.
Then I smelled him, Naraku. "All alone InuYasha?" He asked, stepping out from behind a tree. "You've kept me waiting."
"I'm here aren't I?" I asked irritably.
Naraku chuckled, coming over and wrapping his arms around me, "Yes, you are. Now let's begin before your 'friends' start to wonder where you are."
"Keh," was my response as I followed him further into the woods. We walked until we came to a clearing with a river.
"Are you ready InuYasha?" Naraku asked.
I nodded, walking over to him, but all I said was "Please Naraku."
"Hush InuYasha, it'll all be over soon," he whispered. Naraku came forward and cupped my cheek. A single tear escaped me as he put his claws through my chest. The last thing I heard was Naraku's voice. "I hope you don't mind me using your body and wiping your memory, my dear InuYasha."
