There she was again. Long red hair carefully bouncing on her shoulders as she walked. She was stunning, I thought as she carefully bent down to drink from the fountain. I silently thanked Cook in my mind for convincing me to take Spanish this year. I originally decided against it, already having my credit but he pleaded.
"Come on. blondie! It'll be killer." He said while smoking a spliff in front of college. Leave it to him to do the stupidest things. I just shrugged and watched him exhale.
"There will be a tone of babes, at least ones gotta be a muff muncher, too." He shrugged as well before taking another hit. Before exhaling, he extended the joint to me and I declined with a shake of my head.
"Come on, help a mate out!" He said with a wave of his hands. I knew as well as he did he wasn't interested in picking up women in that class, he was failing this year and his mum will ring his neck if he fails next year too.
"Alright." I agreed. Cook threw the spliff in his mouth and wrapped his arms around me in a tight, quick hug.
"You're a star, Naoms." He said with a quick pat on the shoulders before flinging the spliff into the grass and then dashing up the stairs.
I focus back onto the redhead, her light-red hair being held back by her hand so it doesn't get in the way of her drinking. God, she was beautiful, I thought again. And before I knew it she was gone, walking back into the direction she came from. My eyes followed her all the way until the door blocked my view of her.
"Naomi Campbell!" snaps me out of her trance. Obviously, my teacher has been trying to get my attention for a while. With my heart pounding against my chest, I choke out a "yes?" She knew I wasn't paying attention. Her eyes burned into me. I could hear the snickers in the back of the class, which were probably from Cook.
The teacher started to talk to me in Spanish, asking me how I was and about plans for the weekend. And even though I responded perfectly, my mind was still wrapped around the mysterious redhead.
