The sun rose on the sapphire coloured sea, and shone through Emilia's bedroom window. She opened her eyes, and sat upright in her new bed. This was in her new apartment, next to Dance Central's beach. She slid out of bed, and stepped on her curlers.
"Damn," she whispered, kicking them out of her path. She walked into her bathroom and looked at her reflection. Smiling, she washed her face and then put on her red swimsuit with her red trainers. She put some denim jeans and a white tee shirt over the swimming costume. She was going on her lifeguard duty with Bodie, and Hannah. She walked out of her apartment.
On her way down the stairs, she bumped into Hannah.
"Oh, hi Hannah," Emilia said, smiling and walking with Hannah.
"Hey Emilia," Hannah said, put the bottle cap back on the water she was drinking. They both walked to the beach, and Bodie smiled.
"Hey Emilia, Hey Ha-" Bodie stopped. Hannah was wearing white high cut shorts and a tank top that made her figure stand out, in a good way.
"Wow," Bodie thought.
Hannah and Emilia both took their clothing off, revealing their swimming gear. Emilia stared at Bodie, she was happy that Bodie and she were friends, but she was kind of jealous. Envy raged in her eyes, and started rushing up her body, making her red. Hannah and Bodie were talking about stuff like swimming and dancing. Usually Emilia and Bodie would talk together, not Bodie and Hannah.
"Hey, you three! C'mon!" Their boss shouted from the lifeguard tower. The three set off to see their shifts for today.
"Typical, it had to be today," Emilia thought, looking at the shifts. Hannah and Bodie were on lifeboat duty today.
"Yes!" Bodie said high-fiving Hannah. Hannah smiled, and tied up her long, ginger hair. They both ran off to the boat, and sat down. Emilia watched them, and furiously walked to the rocks, where her shift was.
*On the boat*
Bodie started the boat up, and Hannah took out the binoculars. She put them round her neck, and watched Bodie steer the boat into the middle of Dance Central's sea.
"Um, Hannah, I was wondering if… You and me…. Wanted to…" Bodie started, but Hannah interrupted him with a kiss. Bodie kissed back, and smiled.
"I've always liked you Bodie…"
