Elizabeth just got through saying goodbye to the members of the crew on the Black Pearl. She wouldn't deny it, she was going to miss them. They had been through a lot together. There was no way should ever forget them. Especially Jack. It had been such a relief to know that he had forgiven her. Even though she was sorry for leaving him to the Kraken, she couldn't say it to him. He would just laugh it off. Now, she was rowing towards the island where her and Will would have their one day together. It had been a very emotional day.
Once she got up to the island, she saw Will standing there, next to the sword which he had sat down in the sand. Smiling, she took her own sword and placed it across his. Will walked up to her, and gave her a chaste kiss on the lips.
"We have the whole day to ourselves," he whispered.
"I know."
"Elizabeth, before we do anything else, we need to talk."
She nodded her head in agreement. They each sat down in the sand. At first, they were both silent, but then Will decided to speak.
"I'm sorry, Elizabeth."
She looked at him in confusion.
"What for?"
"For everything. For betraying your trust when I turned Jack over to Sao Feng. For not being able to see you for ten years."
"Will, what's done is done. I forgave you for doing that to Jack. I haven't exactly been a good person to him, either. I'm sorry for betraying your trust as well. I left him to die, and didn't even have the courage to tell you. I didn't know you saw the kiss."
"I did. I knew I should have talked to you about it, but you were just so distant. The way you acted after Jack was taken..."
"That was guilt."
"I know. I know. But it's over. Jack has obviously forgiven us, and we've forgiven him. We do owe him thanks."
"I thanked him before I left."
"Good. Now, about being gone for ten years. Elizabeth, I love you. I always have, and I always will. But if you don't want to wait ten years, I'll understand."
"No, Will. I'll be waiting for you. I'll find someplace in Shipwreck Cove to settle. I doubt I would be welcomed back at Port Royal with open arms."
Will smiled. They hadn't had the chance to clear the air between them before the battle. First, Elizabeth had been taken by Sao Feng, then he was on the Flying Dutchman, and then they had to free Calypso, and during the battle, Will realized how much Elizabeth meant to him, and he didn't know if they would survive, so he decided he was going to marry her during battle. Of course, he didn't really like the fact that a former enemy had married them, but Jack was dealing with Davy Jones, and Barbossa was the only other captain around to do the ceremony.
"Make love to me, Will. I was robbed of one wedding night, and will not be robbed of another."
