Han Solo was sleeping peacefully when he hears Luke's loud sobbing bursting in his never heard Luke cry before." Kid " Han runs in the other room seeing the young Skywalker bawled up like a baby sobbing on the floor." Kid! " Han cried, startling Luke.
Luke's body shook in fear as he let out a small shriek.
Luke turned to look up at his best friend, Han Solo. Han ran to Luke so he could comfort him . Luke's eyes widened, tears ready to fall down his face." Luke... kid... what's wrong?" Han asked. Luke blinked letting his tears slip down his face as he did so." I had a dream " Luke started." Dream about what, kid" Han asked. Luke buried his face in his hands." About my father " Luke answered." I miss him, Han. Why did he have to go" Luke sobbed. Han rubbed the young jedi's back. " He wanted more power, Luke. He was not the jedi he thought he should be. He wanted to save your mom from dying during childbirth... Vader was afraid" Han explained to his young friend. Luke continued to sob.
An idea popped into Han's head. He looked down at the young Skywalker. Han sat down on the floor, legs out. Han picked up Luke and laid him down on his lap, put his hand behind Luke's head. Han started singing a lullaby to Luke.
" Hush now baby brother, don't you cry.
In the night, stars are bright.
Rest your little head and close your eyes to sleep.
Sleep, sleeeeeep, sleeeep, sleeeep, baby brother.
Sleeeep, sleeeep and sleep through the night" Han sung.
He looked down at Luke. Luke was calmed down now and was just about to fall asleep." Thank you, Han" Luke thanked in a tired voice. Han smiled down at Luke." You're welcome, kid... now sleep " he sung the last words. Luke fell asleep. Han put Luke back on the comfortable bed. Han tucked Luke in. Han figured he would be doing to this to his own kid one day... if he had one.
One thing for sure was Han would never let his kid or kids fall to the dark side like one day like Anakin Skywalker... no... never. But, if his kid or kids did fall to the dark side one day... Han would be heart broken. He was glad Luke didn't join the dark side with Vader. Then, Han would have lost his best friend.
" Sleep tight, kid" Han whispered. Han started to walk away, but turned to see Luke one last time before he went back to bed.
