A/N: Just a quick little reaction to A Spectre Calls (4x04).
He stares at the mark on his arm and runs his fingers across it as if to test that it's really there. He has never wanted so badly for something to be a hallucination, but he can feel the raised skin and the pain is still present.
The man with the burnt arm.
Is it really him? Is he really the one who will stop baby Eve from destroying the vampires?
He hopes not. He hopes to whatever God is out there that he's just Hal the vampire who's gone cold turkey for 50 years. Hal the vampire who lived with Leo the werewolf and Pearl the ghost in an old hairdresser's in South End. Hal the vampire who went on to live with Tom the werewolf, Annie the ghost and little baby Eve.
He hopes the prophecy is wrong. He needs the prophecy to be wrong.
Because if it isn't everything that he's worked for is gone.
