„I thought we'd have more time", a sob escapes your lips as you lean over him, tears streaming down your face. He lifts his hand and gently touches your cheek, giving you some sort of comfort while three arrows stick out of his chest, making breathing, talking and swallowing nearly impossible.
"It's gonna be okay, Abby." He smiles at you and you know he accepts his fate. Probably has a long time ago. "I'll be okay. You'll be okay."
You shake your head and grab his hand and lean your cheek against the back of his hand. "I– I don't..." You stop and take a deep breath. "Don't know h–how to do it without y–you."
"You're strong, Abby. You'll get through this." He speaks slowly, his eye lids closing more and more the time passes on. Then he smiles at you one last time, before saying his final words to you.
"I love you."
That's when you break down and beg him to stay, not to leave you. Someone grabs you around your waist and lifts you away from his body. You don't know who it is, all you can do is struggle, trying to break free, until you feel your daughters arms around you and you cling to her, sobbing into her shoulder.
He gave his life to protect you and there's one thing you learned on the Ground:
There will never be enough time.

Inspired from sixwordshort on twitter. This account post so many kabby sentences, you won't believe it.
Hope you like this not-so-happy story of mine and I'll go and rip my heart out :)

P.S: Yep, the three arrows out of his chest is totally inspired from LOTR and Boromir (RIP Son of Gondor).
