"Chelsea, there is some one here to see you." Stated the tall husky warden placing the hand cuffs on her wrists and leading her to the visitation room.
"Chelsea!" called a deep tanned fishermen that brought a smile to Chelsea's sad face. He stood on the other side of the room and walked up to her quickly. "God, I have missed you Denny." She said as the voice echoed through her head.
"No you don't Chelsea! It is his fault you're in here!"
"I've missed you too." He said placing a hand on her shoulder. "You look sickly, as if you aren't doing okay, are you?"
"I'm fine." She lied as she backed away. "I'm not sure how good of an idea it is too touch me here."
"Right, I'm sorry Chelsea." He said looking down sighing. "I just miss you. All of us on the island do. Mirabelle especially, she has been so lonely since the two people who she loved most in her life died." Denny said. "The island had the funerals and then a large memorial. Julia was buried in satin and placed in the wood under the tree where you always found her. Vaughn was cremated and his ashes were spread out on the sea, and the worst one was Chen's. His poor son was devastated seeing his father buried in the field. I just can't imagine." He said wiping his eyes.
"Why are you here?" Chelsea snapped not wanting to hear of the island that brought her such misery.
"Too prove your innocence. I know you didn't do anything wrong. Chelsea, I want you home."
"You do?"
"Yes, I can be your proof, I had the walkie talkie, I heard everything, I called the police. It is my fault you're here and I hate myself for that Chelsea but you are here and I made it my job to set you free. I will do anything do get you out. I swear." Denny stated in the most serious tones that he has ever taken on.
"Denny…" Chelsea mumbled under her breath "Don't go out of your way for me, please?"
"But I have too Chels, okay? I have too."
Chelsea tried not to break, she attempted not to let that voice take over. She didn't want to be that person, but she wasn't strong enough. The voice had taken over.
"How about you don't! I hate you Denny, what do you not get about that? You are right about one thing, this being your fault! If you weren't such pathetic trash I wouldn't be here in this hell hole! I hate every single last person on that island! So instead of helping just fuck off!"
"You, you hate me?" Denny asked, now broken and almost to tears. "You're all I have, you are the only person who made me feel accepted. Please, tell me it isn't true."
"It is Denny! No leave me alone! Go away!"
Denny nodded looking at her. "I'm sorry I did this. I want to help you, I really do. I never wanted this to happen, but if you don't want me too help you then I won't." He said in a low tone. "But, I will come too see you every day, maybe bring out the Chelsea that I once loved. I promise you though, I will help you get out. That to you I swear." Denny said as he walked out. "I will set you free."
Chelsea returned to the control panel of her mind and watched the curly haired man go. "Denny, he said… he loved me. You sent him away! He is a good guy and you broke him!" She screamed to herself. "Get out of my mind! Get the hell out!"
"Calm down my sweet Chelsea or they will come for you." The voice laughed as Chelsea fell to the ground screaming as the guards ran up too her. "And now they are here Chelsea, say hello to the patted room." The voice laughed as Chelsea was taken away.
