Chapter one
Sophie
I checked my watch as I walked down the empty sidewalk towards my house. 11:45pm. I was fifteen minuets late, but no sweat mom would understand. She knew how I loved full moons. I looked up then, up at the moon staring down at me thought the trees and smile . When I had been younger I would stay up all night and stare at it when there was a full moon. Later my older sister Molly would joke around and say my love of the moon was due to the fact that our mother was half werewolf and that I had inherited it.
Fare in the distend , I heard the wail of sirens. It was far at first but soon it was right behind me. I turned around just in time to see fire truck speed by me, making a sharp left turn at the corner towards my house. Not even a second later a whole word of emergency vehicles went flying past me all turning ay the corner after the truck.
I got a bad feeling in the pit of my stomic. I started walking again trying to shack the feeling." It's almost midnight" I told myself. "It's not the house every ones home and safe."
I took a beep breath hoping it would help calm my nerves, but as I breathed in I caught the sent of smock in the night air. I started running towards my house praying that every one and every thing were alright.
