Sam's been missing for 15 years, and ever since that fateful night of when he was taken, john and dean have been searching for him. What happens when a mysterious young man shows up at the roadhouse bearing a striking resemblance to Sam?

Chapter 1

The Roadhouse was thick with smoke and tension. Low chatter gave away any sign if life as hunters mingled or drank themselves to sleep, no doubt to stop their misery or grief from consuming them. Dean Winchester along with his father; John Winchester were sat quietly in the corner talking to the owners of the place, Ellen and Jo Harvelle. Their gruff appearances and battle worn faces kept away any of the curious hunters scattered around for everybody knew not to get on the wrong side of a Winchester. It was a well know fact that the family were once ordinary once with a wife and little brother and that their perfect life was snatched away from them when Mary Winchester was taken from them and only two years later, Sammy Winchester, the baby of the family. For 15 years now they had been searching for him but hadn't yet succeeded in finding him. They were finally accepting that Sammy was gone and they should move on. Things like killing the yellow eyed son of a bitch was at the top of the growing list. They were currently discussing the new lead they had uncovered on yellow eyes; he'd been seen at the scene of a crime, same as theirs, by undoubtedly the wife and the child, who was unusually five years old. Very concerning changes in the bastards patterns.

They were just about to continue their discussion with Jo ad Ellen when a crash reverberated through the wooden shack. The door had slammed open and two figures came hurtling through, knocking over tables and chairs as they came. They crashed to a stop before quickly standing up and starting to circle one another. The air was thick with tension, nobody uttered a word. Everybody's attention seemed to be focused on the two newcomers, bodies posed should a fight escalate. The two at the centre of everybody's gaze were almost polar in opposites. The biggest was stocky, gruff and his mucky blonde hair was slicked back. The second one was smaller, wirier and had hair that was a shaggy brown. His hazel eyes that stared out from underneath could give the sanex puppy a run for his money the way those puppy do eyes were going.

The taller man suddenly spoke. "What you gonna do now Sammy-boy, nowhere to run now that you're in a bar full of hunters, who I'm willing to bet, have a bone to pick with you!" the older one blurted out. As soon as he uttered the sentence murmurs broke out among the hunters and the cracking of fists could be heard. The Winchesters, Ellen and Jo sat in the corner unnoticed and oberserving the disturbance quietly. 'Sammy' seemed to be considering this before a large cocky grin spread over his face and his hands dropped down to his sides. "Well, you of all people should know that I don't take kindly to losing a bet, especially by the likes of you," he paused and shrugged, "so yeah cupcake, I beat you; fair. And. Square!" 'Cupcake spluttered red in the face with cold fury and Sammy seemed to smirk in satisfaction at his small victory. But then Cupcake threw his first punch and all Hell broke loose.
