Once there lived a girl in Forks named Bella. She didn't trust easily. If a boy try to get into her life, she always said no and that was that. It's all because of her father. How he just one day up and left her and her mother because he didn't want to be there anymore. That day made her into the girl she is today, the wall up kind of person that doesn't let anyone in.

One day a new boy came into her school, Edward. You heard the saying before: everybody wanted to be him or be with him, but he only wanted one girl and you guess it, Bella. He heard all about her around the school and he believed he was that person that could break through those walls that she built around herself. One day during the winter he went up to Bella.

"Hey Bella. How are you doing this fine day?"

"Fine Edward."

"You know that everyone else call me Ed. You can too you know. So you know there's a dance coming up and I was wondering if you would…" he was cut off by Bella.

"Let me stop you right there and say no."

"Why?"

"Because I don't want to" that's all she said and walk away from him with that as her answer to his question. That day wasn't the last time that Edward ask her out but after a point a person gets tired of hearing no and that what happen with Edward.

The next year in school he didn't even worry about Bella. He went on with his life like every other teen boy would. He forget all about Bella but that what he wanted everybody to believe. This was his year as a junior he was the captain of the basketball and the baseball team and also was the vice president in student council. He also find a girlfriend that like him back but he still had feeling for Bella but as time passed by his feelings for Bella was starting to diminish and the feelings for his girlfriend was growing.

Their senior came and everything change for Bella. Her father got seriously sick and only had a few months to live and he pass away one summer night. That night before he died he told Bella something and that would stay with her forever.

4 Four months ago:

Her father was laying on a hospital bed and this was his last day on earth but she didn't know, but he did. He had that feeling that if he want to have that heart to heart with his daughter and leave on a good note this was it.

"I know I never did right when it comes to you as a father and I'm so sorry for that. I'm sorry for leaving you and your mom like that yet you still came here when you heard I was sick and I'm very thankful for that. I know this might be the only thing I have left to say to you that is true. Don't close yourself off because of what I did to you because not every man out there is like me and there are some good men out there that are good for you and would do right by you. I might not have showed it or say it a lot but I do love you with all my heart, but the best way to show you was to leave because I was horrible dad when I was there, so I left. That would be the biggest mistake I ever made in my life and now karma is getting back at me. I know I might not have your forgiveness now but this I must tell you now. Don't make the same mistake your mother and I have made. You are your own person and you have the right to give yourself a far better future." Bella take her father's hand and say one last time, "I love you too and I do forgive you." That night her dad pass away in his sleep.

Back to Present:

One day doing her senior year, she went up to Edward and told him that she was sorry for never giving him a chance and hope they could be friends now. He gave her a chance and they are still friend even though it been 10 years. Though he still have feeling for her but he took what she gave him. Their friendship is stronger than ever.
