Authors Note: I was bored with studying, so I decided to write something. Yawn. Anyway, let's see what I can do with ludi PQ now. Multi chaptered!!
Chapter one: Eos Tower
Hells wrath, a level 41 fighter, stepped out of the 101st floor portal, feeling exhausted.
"Finally… I've reached ludibrium." He panted out.
It had took him 3 whole days to climb the whole 100(well 101 if you want to count the floor he stood on currently) floors from omega sector. With no scrolls. What made it worse was, that apart from the fact that he had to battle his way past hordes of block golems, mice, and flying mechanical what-not's, was that he was only ONE level from being able to wear that damned Icarus cape(2) in his backpack, which would have allowed him to get up those 100/101 floors easier.
Ah hell, whatever.
And thinking that, he entered the nearby portal, to find four more members for the ludibrium party quest.
After 2 hours of searching, he had finally found four more members.
Firstly, the highest leveled one in their party, a level 50 male Fire mage, Flamedance. Unfortunately, being the highest leveled in their party, he also had the arrogant, lord-it-over-you attitude that was normally only acquired by third jobbers. The leader generally was not impressed with him.
Next, there was the female twins, Cometstar and meteorfalls, a level 47 assassin and level 46 crossbow woman. They were twins, and wore identical suits, right down to their gloves. In fact, the only visible difference wrath could see was their weapons, one wielded a Maple Kandayo claw, while the other wielded a Maple Soul Searcher bow. Both were notoriously rare, and extremely hard to find in the maple world.
Next, there was the level 42 male cleric, named AscionBlade35(A/Nhah I'm advertising for revolt), who probably named himself that after reading one of the most successful fan fictions ever, revolt of the archers, by Kal Ancalas. Privately HellsWarth thought that the cleric had just spent too much time reading the damn fic.
And the last member…was called up by HellsWrath, but would take several more minutes to come.
So in the meantime, the rest of the party took out their relaxers, played cards, practiced their spells, and generally socialized with each other.
Finally, after another 15 minutes, which seemed like a mere 2.5 minutes to them, the last member of the party came.
She was a level 42 fire mage, wielding a fairy wand and having the general, explosive attitude of a fire arrow. Wrath knew that, having been on the receiving end of her flaming attitude (and spells) on several occasions before.
"Fancy making us wait so long for you…" was one comment that the leader overheard, which was spoken by Flamedance.
The majority of the other comments were of a more friendly kind, and after the introductions had been made, they moved to the top of the room, and proceeded to be blocked by a red sign.
"Here to take on the ludibrium part quest are you? Well allow me to explain it to you. You basically need to get past the traps, puzzles and monsters that Alishar has set for you, and then finally confront the monster himself. Good luck!"
"Hold on a second-"
And with a 'whoosh' sound, they were teleported away, into the start of the party quest.
The last thing the whole party heard though, was a comment from Flamedance.
"I still don't see why there are two fire mages here…"
Authors Note: Ludi PQ is kinda hard to write, but I will do my best. Chapter 2 will come out next weekend, maybe. Now though, no promises as the exams are fast approaching.
