Chapter 1 – TATE Background Story
"Kate Todd, will you marry me?" Anthony (Tony) DiNozzo asked his girlfriend of 3 months.
Kate who was taken by surprise didn't know what to say at first. She knew that she loved this man who was not only her boyfriend but her partner at work too, but their lives were not all that normal and she didn't know how she felt if something were to happen to Tony.
"I don't know Tony; I…want to say yes but…"
"If you want to say yes why don't you? Asked Tony. His heart had skipped a beat.
"I'm afraid. We're federal agents Tony, that's not exactly a safe job," replied Kate in a shaking voice.
"Kate, no job is safe, and I am scared too for that very reason but I don't care. We are good at our jobs and I know that if something were to happen, I would regret not being married to you."
"Alright then Tony. I will marry you."
Kate's answer brought a smile to Tony's face and he leaned forward to kiss her.
Three months after they got married they had twins. One boy and a girl, they were born on the 18th September 2001. That day was the happiest day of their lives as they named their children in front of their family and friends.
"The boy is called Antonio Eric and the girl is called Madison Grace."
