The Imp With Blood-Red Eyes

One apon a time there was a little boy called Duo he lived in a house with his father at teh edge of the forest. One night his father was late coming home from work, as it started to get dark he heared a Scratch Scratch.
When he turned to look in the window there were two blood-red eyes. He ran over and pulled down the blinds. The he heared the strangest sound,"hawww" then a pittapat pittapat pitpat pittapat as foot steps went back into the forest.
Two days passed and again Duo was all alone in the house. It started to get dark and he heard, Scratch Scratch Scratch. When he turned to look, again in the window he saw two blood-red eyes. He ran over and pulled down the blinds. again he heard the sound,"haww," then a pittapat pittapat pitpat pitpat pittapat as foot steps went back into the woods.
Duo never told anyone what he had seen untill one day, there was a knock at the door. He opened it and there infront of him the wize old Wufei from the village. Duo knew him well, he asked him in fro a cup of tea. As the old man was drinking his tea he looked at Duo and said," I have never seen you look so sad Maxwell, what is the matter?"
"The scariest thing, when I'm alone in the house and it starts to get dark, something comes to scratch at the window and it has blood-red eyes."
"That must be the last of the forest imps. But there's nothing to be afreid of, he's just a wee creature from the forest. He's not very big."
"But his eyes are red, just like blood."
"Now would you be afreid of the imp if his eyes were a different colour?"
"I don't know," said Duo.
"Then I've got some magic for you. The next time your all alone, and it starts to get dark. Wait by the east window, where the moon rises and I'm sure you'll not be afreid,"and then Wufei dissapeared.
Several dyas passed and the imp did not come to scratch at Duo's window. But one night it got dark and the moon rose. Duo waited at the east window. He heard Scratch scratch scratch. When he turned to look there was the face of the imp, but his eyes had changed from blood-red to brilliant-blue. Duo was no longer afreid.
He went outside and the imp spoke to him," Duo, don't be afreid I don't want to harm you. My name is Quatre. I only want to be your friend."
"I'm not afried of you, your eyes are blue!"
The imp realised it must be the magic of the moonlight shining off his eyes that made them look blue. But he was so lonely and he wanted Duo to be his friend. So he did not tell him the secret. He only came to play with him when the moon was shining.
One night they were playing outside a great big black cloud covered the moon. All of a sudden Quatre's eyes flashed blood-red. Duo screamed and turned to run away.
The imp called to him," Duo, it was just the magic of the moonlight that made my eyes blue, they really are red... but arn't you my friend?"
Duo turned slowly around and when he looked again at the imp all he saw was the face of a friend. He no longer even noticed his scarey red eyes. Now they could play together every evening. When the moon was shining, his eyes were blue. But when it was a dark spooky night he was the imp with blood red eyes.

Oh, BTW this might be the prologe for something longer. It might not. It depends. If it is, it will be better written than this.
