Chapter 2
A few days later, Stephan had gotten up the strength to walk and hunt for his own food. Even though he protested that he was fine enough to go out on his own, Siselia refused to believe it and followed him anyways. For a few days, Stephan refused to believe that she was following him and just continued on with his daily travels to town and back to her home. Siselia definitely followed, hiding herself in the trees, watching out for any slayers that may come up out of the darkness and attack them. After that, Stephan started to become annoyed by the fact that she was following him. He turned towards the tree she was in and snarled. "I see you have been stalking me lately Siselia! Why do you follow me when there is no more reason to do so? Why are you being so protective of me? I'm fully healed of my wounds! I can fend for myself! So why are you following me?" He waited for her to appear and respond to his questions, and surely enough, she came dropped down in front of him. "I followed you because I-I.." She paused. "Answer me damnit!" Siselia bit her lip. "I followed you because….because I love you Stephan!" She blurted out. Stephan seemed shocked. Siselia finally scrounged up the courage to look him in the eyes and did so. "There, you know why I've been so protective of you lately. Are you happy now?" Stephan just stared her in the eyes, his jaw dropped. "Well, are you?" Stephan just stared at her, not one word escaping his lips." I-I uh…." He choked out. Siselia felt like she wanted to cry now. "Fine, if you want to leave me, do it now. I guess I'm just stupid for pursuing a man who couldn't love me back. I regret coming after you to tell you that I cared and that I loved you. I regret it all so very-"She was cut off at that, for at the word very, Stephan had grabbed Siselia by the waist and embraced her in a passionate kiss. "I know how you feel, Siselia. I understand because I feel the same for you. I've known I'd loved you ever since I first saw you. From the first minute I awakened to see your beautiful face, your beautiful smile." Siselia's eyes seemed to light up at the sound of his voice, at the words he said to her, but most of all, at the look in his eyes. A few tears formed in her eyes. "Stephan I-I just can't believe that my feelings were true. That you loved me too." Stephan put a finger to her lips and smiled. "Don't speak. Whatever you say I already know. All I need to know is that you love me. All you need to know is that I love you." He gently placed a hand on her check and leaned towards her neck. He bared his fangs and slowly yet gently bit into her neck. Siselia bit her lip and let out a soft moan to show her satisfaction. As one thing lead to another, the Siselia and Stephan lost there virginity and their innocence that very night, in that very spot, in that very forest. "Stephan," Siselia said in between their last kisses and deep breaths, "I love you so much." Stephan stared her straight in the eyes. "I love you two." He kissed her a few times as well. Sweat dripped down his body as he panted. After that night, neither knew of the child that they had conceived. They knew nothing of the baby girl Siselia was to carry. They knew nothing of what their child would grow to become. They knew nothing of the baby that wouldn't grow to be a 'normal' vampiric child. They knew nothing of the soon fact that their baby girl's life would be a long, waking, living hell!
