For best reading pleasure listen to music with a soft Irish fiddle like
Irish Waltz (performed by angel band) or something to that effect, soft and
a little sad.

Stories on the Wind, Song of the Sea,
The wind calls
It whispers across the waters
It tells the take of two star-crossed lovers
Long ago and far away
It remembers the fair ones
Away across the sea
They lived in a kingdom
That separated them
The hate and the strife wound around them pulling them apart
A scheming prince threatening all they held dear
Alone they were
Alone and apart
United they sailed away
Across the water they fled
Happy they were
together
in their little boat
Drifting across the loving sea
Away from trouble and despair
They lived
The prince learned of their escape
He had long been jealous of their love
This heart bent and twisted no longer held any love
He pursued them in a dark, cold boat
On that day,
Oh fateful day
The black sails billowed in the wind
The dark ship caught up with the little fishers boat
Trapping the lovers in the middle of the deep
With no other escape they dove into the sea
Hand in hand, imprisoned yet still free
Like a loving mother the sea welcomed them
Drawing them down
Hiding them from the jealous prince
Speeding them on their journey to heaven
For as their bodies sunk their sprits floated
Embracing as they went
To heaven they fled
Fore it was only there that could find peace
So there, in cold blue deeps
The lie embracing warm
Preserved by love
Their beauty still
Serenity shields them
The water protects them
And forever they will lie
Till the world is changed and eternally made new
The wind calls
It whispers across the waters
It tells the tale of
Legolas hears the song in the distance, so far from the sea yet the trees
they still sing this song. Here in the woods of Lothlórien.
Perhaps it wasn't the trees, and fair and strange wood this was, it
was most certain anything could happen.
The dark closed around him, the only sound he now heard was the
sleeping fellowship.
Legolas closed his fair eyes and images of the sea flooded his mind.
Smiling to him self 'One day, far away and yet so near, I will grant my
heart its last yearning and pass over the sea.'
Clearing his mind he began to drift on the sea of dreams. The song
once again sounded in his ears, filling his dreams and embedding itself in
his pure heart
The wind calls
It whispers across the waters
It tells the tale of.
