Pink Houses

"Hey Kurt?" Blaine asked from where he was lying on Kurt's bed.
"Hmm?" Kurt answered not looking up from his homework.
"Why do you have a cheerios track suit in your closet?"
"I was a cheerio last year. Wait... how do you know I have a cheerios uniform?" Kurt said raising his eyebrows.
"Oh well, I found it when I was looking for that shirt you asked for. But seriously? A cheerio?" Blaine said stunned.
"Yeah, I also had a period where I only wore plaid to impress Dad, I actually sang 'Pink Houses' in glee club that week," Kurt said with a grin on his face when he saw Blaine's face.
"No way! You sang Mellencamp? You? The guy who can hit the high F in 'Defying Gravity'?" Blaine's vaice sounding very surprised.
"Well now I'm offended! You heard me sing the baseline of 'gotta have that funk', didn't you?"
"Yeah... but I just don't see you sing 'Pink Houses', Will you sing it for me now?" Blaine asked putting on his best puppydog face.
"Oh no! No, no, no, no! No way!" Kurt protested.
"Oh come on, please?"
"No, I'm not singing it now, but I think Mercedes filmed it and put it online," Kurt compromised.
Blaine jumped up and got his laptop and began his search. After about ten minutes Blaine found the video. He quickly hit the play button and stared as he watched Kurt -his boyfriend Kurt!- sing freakin' Mellencamp.
"Wow," Blaine whispered. "Just wow, what the hell cna't you do?" Blaine said thinking that Kurt's range was unique and admiring the talle boy.
"Nothing, I'm perfect," Kurt joked.
"Yes, yes you are," Blaine said, being completely serious and pulling him in for a kiss.
"Just one thing," Blaine started. Kurt raised his eyebrows and looked at him expectantly.
"That outfit was just so wrong! No more plaid for you, or at least that much plaid," Blaine giggled.
"I can rock anything, but you're right about it being too much plaid and flanel," Kurt agreed hugging Blaine.
"Sweetie?" Blaine said.
"Yes?"
"Can I watch it again?"
