Chapter One:The New Prophecy
Wu POV
"Wu, may I speak with you in private?" Misako asked, carefully handling some scrolls "I have found something quite...shocking, to say the least"
"Why of course" I replied as we walked to the deck of The Bounty-my Ninja were still asleep or they were training somewhere else "What is it, Misako?" I asked
"I've been searching through the scrolls to learn more about the past of The Elemental Masters, when I found something not quite linked with my research, but something rather dangerous if I have interpreted it correctly" She explained, pulling out a specific scroll "It states: The earth will takes it's final stand as it's wielder grows stronger, with the power to re-shape and save us all from the upcoming peril. In doing so, earth will diminish as sacrifice, as fire will burn hotter than before and light the path. Each strong alone, but powerful together united through more than just brotherhood. The key is both earth and fire, as only lava can seal the cracks upon the surface and the craters deep underneath."
"Oh my...you mean Earth and Fire-those two?"
"I believe so...Wu, Ninjago will once again be in danger, and the only hope rests on two of our Ninja..." Misako said gravely "Destiny is changing itself-it was never supposed to be them"
"Once again the fate of Ninjago rests on the Ninja...once again we are unsafe...once again my students must risk everything-their lives even, to save us from disaster. But what the rest of that scroll means, I have no idea"
"More than just brotherhood...you don't believe they must..." Misako implied
"Indeed" I sighed
"Two of my Ninja must overcome all odds and save us all...by falling in love with each other..."
