I do not know what to call this...Perhaps an attempt at something abstract...Yeah, I do not know, but I was half asleep writing this...Leave some reviews if you do that stuff, and follow and favorite, if you do that too...Or, just read?
Every seat was immaculate. The room was without blemish and spotless. The table was long and grand. The chairs were as grand the table.
"Dear Espada. Thank you for assembling."
Aizen, former fifth captain, turncoat-now villain, sat at the head of the long table. The strongest of his army, including Gin and Kaname, were seated before him. Gin. Kaname. The Espada, numbering thirteen, sat just an inch or two away from Gin and Kaname.
Yammy, by far the largest just slung his massive arm on the table, elbowing shaking the whole room. "Let's just get on with it."
"You'd better watch it." Kaname bit out, in no mood for antics.
"Tch. I was sleeping." Yammy scoffed, looking at Aizen.
"Kaname." Aizen shifted his focus onto him.
It was with a small bow Kaname conceded.
"I have called this gathering of my elite for a progress report on our most recent experiments and exploits. I also, plan to devise a plan of attack using those experiments. It is time we implement our plan. The truth has finally come out that I am a turncoat."
In other words, there had better be progress.
Aizen had to keep stirring the pot with those clowns in Soul Society. That. Is. All. They. Were. Even Yamamoto for all of his might, was just a clown. How easy it had been to do what he did under all of their noses. Even Toshiro's big nose. The little stripling had a lot to learn. They all had to learn. Their ridiculous self importance, believing they were the keepers of justice...
Truth be told Aizen had the whole thing figured out. He would take out the Shinigami. He would go to the Soul King. He would demand the seat. If the being dared to deny him his seat he would slay him without a second's hesitation. It was only thanks to the original Gotei 13 that the Soul King got that seat-that the Central 46 even came to be.
It is all on that old man. Aizen scowled.
"Are you referring to the monsters?" Ulquiorra asked, tone devoid of any emotion.
"Those real scary things?" Gin prodded, grin widening. "I thought I felt a...Strange Reiatsu."
Makoto-the 13th Espada spoke up, face calm. "They are coming along. There are many. However, the ones you are referring to are still incomplete."
Aizen had an idea why, but, still, he was curious.
He arched a brow.
"They cannot be controlled...They're too powerful and massive to be controlled, I'm afraid." Makoto told him.
Kaname took this time to speak up. Not everyone chimed in during these meetings. Not unless it was something confrontational or ridiculous. The times someone was productive other than a few people happened about as much as Aizen crushing Grimmjow for throwing tantrums during tea time.
"They must be controlled. We do not want to wipe out Soul Society. We just want to wipe out a portion, preferably with all of the Shinigami."
There was a moment of silence.
"We could just beat the hell out of them until they listen." Grimmjow suggested, frowning.
Ulquiorra shook his head once, closing his eyes. "Makoto is right. The ones he speaks of cannot be controlled. They are too powerful, even among our standards, but there are others that can be controlled."
"Like hell. If you let me at them I'll rip them apart."
"Thus screwing everything up!" Gin added in, voice jovial. "Boy, that would really piss of Coyote over there!"
Starkk took the time to scowl, groaning in annoyance. "Not so loud."
"Can we go through with this or not?" Harribel asked, getting right to the point. "It'll be problematic if we have to worry about your creations turning on us."
Makoto nodded. "We can, just not in the way I had envisioned at first. My genius has surpassed me this time."
"I'm going to puke." Grimmjow remarked.
He did not like how Makoto always used the word envision.
It really, really pissed him off.
"Try to keep your comments to a minimum unless you have something worthwhile to say, Grimmjow."
"Whatever, Kaname."
"How big are they?" Aizen asked, ignoring the friction.
While controlling a monster was essentially impossible, there were means to...Guide them. There would come a time where he would unleash his legion to reign down destruction, but for now he wanted to make a statement. I am the strongest.
In order to do that, he'd need to make a point.
These monsters were just the way to do that.
Ulquiorra and Makoto exchanged glances briefly, both conceding with something at the same time.
"The largest is just shy of three hundred thousand meters. The rest all vary between ninety thousand and two hundred thousand meters. This is partly the reason they cannot be controlled. The enormity of their forms. The second, because they are this big, their Reiatsu is equal to that or greater. We ensured it to be that way. However, they do seem to have a will, of sorts. They are driven by rage and fury...A primordial thirst ..."
"A thirst for mayhem and carnage." Kaname finished, not looking exactly amused.
"Possibly." Makoto agreed.
"How come I ain't feeling that wicked reiatsu then?" Nnoitra asked, interest piqued.
"Seals." Ulquiorra answered simply. "They are complex and subjugate their reiatsu, instead of suppressing it. They are also far from here."
Silence.
"Do you have anything that isn't going to cause a cataclysm?" Gin half joked.
He wondered what would happen if Soul Society and Hueco Mundo merged.
It'd be amusing, certainly.
"I concur." Kaname added in.
"Now, just hold on a moment."
Everyone held their tongue as Aizen spoke those words. Nobody would really question him or his choices. But, that was with everything else. This was not one of those things. Even Barragon, who had refrained from speaking like some other Espada, had a look of tense anger on his face.
The thought of monsters so unfathomably gigantic shook them all to the core, but it excited him. It truly excited Aizen. Just like trying to claim the sky as a throne. A monster, rampaging, and he beside it-as if it were his pet and not a machine of mayhem.
It would burn into the memories of everyone.
Even Yamamoto would be powerless before so many monstrosities.
"Aizen-sama?" Starkk looked a little cautious.
"Using the ones they mentioned will not play in our favor. They will turn on us before we ever begin to execute the plan." Harribel added.
"Do you think so?"
Starkk nodded just barely. "They are rampaging monsters, only capable of destruction."
Which translated into noise. Starkk could only imagine what sort of gut wrenching, heart stabbing roar these monsters exerted. It would be like an attack all on its own. Shock waves would fly and beams of reiatsu would fly like a star going supernova.
The destruction would be so vast and wide, it could tear into the fabric of reality itself.
Makoto and Ulquiorra...What have you both done?
"Exactly." Aizen smirked.
That caught Starkk off guard.
Yammy tapped his elbow on the table. "If we were to actually use those things, there'd be nothing left for us to wipe out or conquer."
I wonder...If that is what I really want... Aizen mused.
To wipe out Soul Society and everyone inside of it.
"That is the point Yammy."
"Eh? I don't get it. I thought we were going to purge the captains of the Gotei 13."
"That is the plan...But, there are always things that can change in the moment. Improvise, as they say. It would not be a terrible loss if one of the monsters did rampage and destroy Soul Society. Many Shinigami would fall, and morale would be at an all time low."
They wouldn't be able to confront all of the Espada, himself, Gin, and Kaname. It would be impossible. Even Yamamoto would have his hands full against the monstrosities and could be grievously wounded as well. That would be great, too. The more they weakened now, the better it would be when...
"I have a question for you both."
Makoto nodded while Ulquiorra merely looked at Aizen.
"In theory...Perhaps one of the monsters can be pacified slightly be Reiatsu. If we can exude a calmness around one of them, it might be a little more docile for that moment. Less prone to trying destroy the fabric of everything."
"I am not sure." Ulquiorra admitted, closing his eyes.
"In theory, that could work." Makoto said. "However, not everyone in this room has a calm Reiatsu, or rather, can't make it calm."
"We will bring Wonderweiss. He has a calm Reiatsu when he isn't agitated." Aizen concluded.
"When he isn't." Gin added. "He gets real loud at times, and I just don't mean his mouth."
"He should be able to calm them down if anything." Kaname said, though had his doubts.
Aizen nodded, going over something briefly. "Makoto, Ulquiorra, Harribel, Starkk, and Wonderweiss will bring the monster."
Nobody was going to argue, but disapproval was evident.
Disapproval, grown from worry.
"Guess that means we go after that little shit Ichigo." Grimmjow deduced, clenching his fists.
He was going to enjoy breaking Ichigo. He had been content to toy with him and beat the high hell out of him, but he knew the stripling was a threat. His reiatsu was unstable, fluctuated, and increased rapidly. One moment he would be near death, the next encounter he would barely be winded.
Grimmjow would never guess why Aizen was interested in such a little shit, but he wasn't going to argue the point. Ichigo thought he could stand toe to toe even if he was hopelessly outmatched. I'll keep on fighting. I'll never give up. I don't care if you are stronger than me.
Grimmjow was about to whack the table, but refrained from doing so.
He was getting pissed off.
Fucking Ichigo.
When I get my hands on him...I swear I'm going strangle that little rat so fucking hard his vocal cords will sever!
"Well..." Aizen trailed off.
"I am going to get my hands on that little fucking clown and throttle him so he'll never be able to clench that stupid ass black sword of his!" Grimmjow all but roared, smashing his fist down on the table.
"You know how long it took me to find that table?" Gin asked.
"I don't give a flying shit." Grimmjow replied. "I owe that stripling."
"Well..." Gin had nothing left to say.
"If you let your personal emotions and reasons interfere in this mission you will not be assigned to it." Kaname said, focus on Grimmjow.
"You better shut the fuck up Kaname. I haven't forgot about my arm you sliced off and how Aizen saved your little sniveling ass. I'll take off your head this time around."
Nnoitra grinned. "I'll come with if Kaname and Grimmjow come with. It would be something if they actually started fighting. I would just have to leap right in and try to kill you both, because that is what I do best."
"You better not even try..." Kaname bit out.
Nnoitra only grinned wide. "I won't even reconsider. Not at that point."
"Well, it'll be a mess if some of those captains come and give us a hassle." Gin thought aloud. "Maybe I should go with."
Makoto wondered if that was a good idea. "You may agitate them, Gin."
"How?"
"Your very presence. I am the creator of those monsters so I know them best. Your reiatsu is like a snake coiling to strike-you cannot be allowed near my creations."
"Ain't that a little harsh?"
"Not at all." Aizen said, looking at Gin. "You will be with the others launching an attack."
