Authors note: New story! A few months ago I was rewatching 2x08 when this idea came to me. I had been putting it off but finally decided to write it. This is the first installment. Hope you like it!
Chapter One
"Why Betty? Why did you do the dance?" Betty saw tears enter her line of vision. "I.. I wanted to be apart of your world Jug." "No!" Jughead interrupted. "No Betty, I won't have you in anymore danger than you're already in." And he walked away from a stunned Betty Cooper.

Betty walked home from the White Worm that night since her mom drove the station wagon back to the house. When all of a sudden she heard footsteps from behind her. She turns around to find three men. One with dirty blonde hair, one with brown hair, and one with jet black hair. And they were all pretty tall, but the one with the black hair was the tallest. They all have this weird black and white makeup on. She thought. And their jackets, those aren't Serpent jackets.
"Hey sweetheart." Said the blond one. "Are you lost?" He said with a nasty grin. "N.. n... no." Betty said, voice trembling. "We saw you walking out of the Serpent bar." Betty was terrified.
"Why don't we talk for a while?" The tallest one with black hair spoke, stepping towards her. Betty tried to step back, do anything to get away from them. But the second she tried to she was pushed forward by the brunette one.
"Why leaving so soon northsider?" He said with mock sympathy. Then the tallest, the one, right in front of her, looked to the other two. "Grab her." And before she had a chance to react her vision went black.

A visibly distressed Jughead Jones shuffled to the bar where Toni was serving up drinks. "What's got you down Jones?" Toni said, not looking up from the drink she was preparing. He let out a sigh and proceeded to tell Toni about how he didn't like that Betty did the Serpent dance. But purposely left out his talk with the Snake Charmer. And how he was scared for Betty's well being.
"Well yesterday she did come to me asking how to become a Serpent. So I told her about the dance." This was news to Jughead. "You did what?!" Toni had fished the drink she was preparing and handed it to the person seated a few chairs away from him. "Sorry Jug. I didn't think it would go this far." She said, finally looking up. "It's fine Toni." He stated in a monotonous voice, and Toni gave him an apologetic smile.

Betty awoke in a dark room, the only hint of light was from a small lamp on the other side of the room. She didn't know where she was. But she knew she was in danger.
