Party at the Farmhouse
The turtles were decorating the living room at the farmhouse for Chloe's ninth birthday. They had used their sixteenth birthday present from Casey which happened to be colored keys to get into the farmhouse.
"Donny, did you bring the gift we worked on for Chloe?" Leo asked.
"I did, Leo," Donny replied. "I put it in a safe spot so Chloe won't see it until her birthday party."
"I really hope she likes it," Mikey said.
"It was nice of her grandparents to help out with her birthday present," Raph said.
"I'd better go make the cake," Mikey said, heading towards the kitchen.
"I'll go get Chloe's gift and get it wrapped up," Donny said, leaving the room.
"I'll finish setting up in here," Raph said.
"I'll go get Chloe and have her come back in here," Leo said, heading for the front door.
Chloe Calls was running through the grass at the farmhouse feeling the wind on her face and hair which flowed in the breeze. She stopped running when she saw Leo heading towards her.
"Chloe, it's time for the party," Leo said.
"Be right in," Chloe responded.
Leo turned back to the farmhouse. Chloe raced towards the farmhouse, went inside, and was amazed at what she saw.
The living room was decorated with balloons and streamers in various colors. On the table was a round chocolate cake with creamy chocolate icing.
"You did a marvelous job," Chloe told the turtles.
Donny left the room. He came back a few minutes later with a gift wrapped in white wrapping paper. He handed the gift to Chloe who opened the gift which happened to be a photo album. Chloe looked through the album, which had pictures of her with her parents, closed the album when she was done, and broke down completely.
The turtles weren't used to seeing Chloe like that. Donny gathered Chloe in his arms and she latched on tightly and buried her face in Donny's shoulder.
A while later, Chloe released Donny. Then she pulled herself together.
"You OK?" Donny asked with concern.
"I am now. I guess I needed that," Chloe replied.
"We're all here for you," Leo said.
"If you have a problem, talk to one of us and we'll listen," Raph said.
"I really appreciate that," Chloe said. "By the way, how did you get the pictures?"
"Your grandparents helped us out," Mikey said.
"That was nice of them to help you out with this fantastic gift," Chloe said. "Now I'm ready for some cake."
The turtles and Chloe went over to the cake and sang "Happy Birthday". Then they cut their own slices and ate the cake making it a self-serve birthday cake.
After the party, Chloe spent some time with each of the turtles. Eventually, she decided to go to bed.
"Good night," Chloe said. "I think I'll head to bed now."
"Sleep tight," Donny said.
"We'll see you in the morning," Leo said.
"Get plenty of rest," Mikey said.
"Night," Raph said.
Chloe headed for one of the bedrooms. Then the turtles decided to get ready for bed and they ended up sleeping in the living room snuggled up together.
