Samcedes
"Do you think they know?" Mercedes asked Sam as Blaine started naming his nominees for his setlist to Kurt.
"I don't think anyone knows," Sam answered taking her hand.
After they got their coffees, Mercedes looked her new boyfriend in the eye and smiled.
"How are your little brother and sister?" she asked him. "Oh, they're fine. They're happy that you're my girlfriend now. They really like you a lot! Especially Stacey," he said a smile appearing on his face.
Mercedes loved the way his eyes lit up when he talked about his siblings.
"Well they're angels," she replied.
"Do you maybe wanna go watch a movie tonight?" Sam asked.
"Of course," Mercedes' face lit up.
When they had finished their coffees, Sam drove Mercedes home. After helping her out of the car and walking with her to her front door, Sam leaned forward and placed a small kiss on her lips.
"See you tomorrow," he said softly.
"Bye," she grinned.
The next day at school they had to pretend that they were just friends, but apparently they weren't such great actors because at lunch Kurt quietly asked Mercedes if she was dating Sam.
Taking her flushed face as a 'yes', he said he was very happy for her.
Sam couldn't take his eyes off of her during the last glee club meeting of the year and as 30 minutes passed, he got sick of acting like nothing was going on and he grabbed Mercedes' hand.
She looked at him surprised but didn't pull away.
After a few remarks from their friends, they said they were happy for them.
Kurt looked like he was never going to get that smile off his face as he noticed how happy Sam made his best friend.
That night they didn't see much from the movie that was playing.
Mercedes had finally found someone who loved her for her.
As they left the cinema Sam looked at the girl by his side and said: "Mercedes, you look beautiful tonight."
She smiled and kissed him.
"Thank you Sammie."
