Disclaimer: I don't own Saw

A/N: This was just a random story I wrote to try to get rid of my writers block from my other saw fic. Some people liked it so i though i'd post it. R&R and i hope you enjoy

Laura was a teenage girl of average height. She awoke one Monday, her black hair with golden highlights a mess, to the lovely sound of her alarm clock screaming at her. She turned it off quickly and sat on her bed. Should I get up… nah! School won't miss me if I just miss out this one day… I'll just tell my mom I don't feel good later. Laura went back to bed.

She woke up again but in a different room. It was hot and humid. She sat up on the and looked around. She was in a room as big as most people's bedrooms but it seemed smaller because of what was in it. Laura was in one corner of the room and in the other was an odd contraption. There were loops bolted in the stone ceiling, old tile floor, and black colored concrete walls. Ropes riddled and twisted through them and knots seemed its only purpose. In the middle of all this was a key held in place by the two biggest knots. Laura then noticed something; She was barefoot. There a layer of razor blades in and around the rope-knot-contraption-thingy. Laura stood up and noticed there was a camera, the kind of camera that picked up sound, and a speaker. A badly disguised voice came through.

"Hello Laura. I want to play a game."

"Hacky sack? I'm really good you know…"

"No, not hacky sack"

"But…"

"You are lazy, and skipped school. I have more reasons but you don't want to know them."

"Why not? I do to want to know!"

"Fine…truthfully…This is the first trap I made up myself and I needed someone to test it out on. You live nearby here so…yeah…"

"That's cheep!"

"ANYWAY, to make a long story short, you need to get the key in five minutes or the door will permanently lock."

"Door?" Laura looked closely at a nearby wall. "Where? Oh! Wait…" She looked down. "Oh! There's a trap door! Okay, sure, whatever"

"You sound confident."

"You know what? I'll make a bet with you, If I get out of here in less then one minute, you owe me a hundred bucks."

"Deal!" Amanda smirked. She'll never get it.

Laura bent down and picked up a razor blade and cleared a path through the others quickly. She walked right up to the middle and cut the key free. She then exited the door. Laura had escaped in 45 seconds. She had a few cuts but nothing major.

Amanda went to the site immediately. She was flabbergasted and ashamed at such a foolish mistake on her part. Dammit… She met Laura. Laura smiled at her and held out her hand. Amanda sulkily gave up five twenties.

"Thank you" Laura said calmly. She then went home. She went to school the next day out of boredom.

So...what do you think? I wrote Amanda like this cuz I don't think she'll do as well as John but... I know she wouldn't be this bad. It's suposed to be funny :P
