A soft feather of white

All I have of him

My dearly beloved

How I miss you so

I know in my heart

That one someday, somewhere

We will meet again

I can only wish

That time will be now

So I can see your bright red eyes

Your raven black hair

And your soft, silky wings

If only I could hold you again

And put my head against your chest

And look up at the night sky

And see the moon

Shining down on us

As we sit together

The perfect image of our love
