Not Like Him
I remember back to four years ago when that news report came about him. They said he was, in fact, evil. They said he was plotting to destroy them slowly and horrifically by creating a truce and breaking it. They said it after the Freakshow fiasco.
And he disappeared. He disappeared from existence. No one really cared, but I had to wonder. Why, did he see the news? Did ghosts watch the news? And where would he go? I knew as a fact he wasn't a welcome face in the Ghost Zone, so…where to?
It's not like him to do that. He was always persistent, a wisecracking ghost who always knew how to peeve someone. He never stopped protecting us, even to our protests. Especially me. Especially me. So why did he just disappear like that?
Danny stopped talking the same time he disappeared. He shut his mouth and always had this glazed look over his eyes. I could tell, he was upset, disappointed, and was repaid cruelly for a good deed. And backstabbed. I never knew why, but I helped out while I can, wondering all the while why. He was stubborn, a fighter, and responsible. This is not like him.
They said he was a nightmare since he managed to destroy a few buildings as a casualty. They say Danny Fenton is a maniac on the loose, especially since he held Sam hostage for her safety. You know what I say to these idiots? He's not like himself, so shut up. Because one's my acquaintance, and the other's my crush.
