Disclaimer: I don't own the teen titans.
Starfire knew Raven wasn't herself today, or she hadn't been for months. She knew Raven was miserable. She knew exactly why. The Titans were breaking apart. Cyborg was the first to leave to pursue an average life for a human. Beast Boy was next, upset that his best friend left without saying a goodbye. Starfire had no idea where he had gone. Robin was next. He left three months ago. He left without a trace. Starfire was heartbroken. Her heart ached for him to come back but she knew it was never going to happen.
Raven was taking this hard. Starfire thought that Raven felt as if everyone was leaving her . She didn't want her friend to feel any kind of pain, mental or physical. Starfire decided she should confront her about this today. She hated seeing the new scars forming on her wrists. Was her friend self harming herself? She hated this thought, but knew it had to be a fact. Starfire pushed stray pieces of red hair out of her face. She was going to go talk to Raven.
Starfire didn't fly. There was no joy to feel knowing that Raven must have been in a very deep depression. She raised a hand at Raven's door and knocked. No response. She knew she wouldn't get one, but she tried knocking again. No response again. The alien sighed and opened the door with her alien strength. "Raven!" Starfire shouted as she saw the sight before her.
Raven was indeed cutting herself. Starfire was hoping this wasn't true and she had hoped her friend would have been strong enough not to do this to herself. Starfire ran over to the girl. "Raven." Raven turned to her. No emotion was seen in her eyes or face. She looked at Starfire with a blank stare while gripping the knife in her hand. Starfire took the knife away. Raven didn't fight for it. She didn't yell or threaten Starfire to get out of her room either. Instead, she just sat there, staring at the red head.
Starfire did what she had to do; she gave Raven a comforting hug. Raven didn't fight it. Starfire didn't care that Raven was getting blood all over her. That didn't matter. Starfire just knew this deep depression was slowly killing Raven and she needed to help her. If not, the end result would be horrible and grotesque.
Raven began to show emotion. She cried into the alien's chest. She gripped the purple shirt tightly that Starfire wore. She rubbed Raven's back in a circular motion.
"Everything will be okay. I will help you Raven, I will help you. You will never be alone. I am always here." Starfire whispered to the distressed Titan.
"Help me." Raven choked.
"I promise I will. I am not going anywhere."
