Okay, so this takes place in the Second Dimension, maybe a day or two before Phineas, Ferb, Perry and Doof arrive. ;) This is my first Baljeet-centered story. XD
The three girls ducked behind a trashcan as a smiling Normbot hovered by. When it was out of sight, Gretchen, Addison, and Ginger quickly continued their journey. In a few minutes, the Garcia-Shapiro home came into view. Then they hurried through the gate, side-stepped the trap-door, and entered the garage where a secret entrance to a hideout underneath the house was located. They slid down a long chute, before landing on their feet in a dark room, in front of a girl with midnight hair and a suspicious expression. However when she saw the three girls each in similar apparel as her own, Isabella's expression became more pleasant, and she gave an apologetic smile.
"He's in there," she said, pointed with a flashlight to the room beyond, where a huge, blank screen was mounted on the wall. A tall, dark chair stood before it with it's back facing them. The girls hurried toward it.
Ginger was the first to arrive.
"Hi Dr. Baljeet," she said sweetly. "Whatcha doin?"
"Yeah, Dr. Baljeet!" said Addison in a voice that was much more annoyed. "What's going on?"
The short Indian boy turned in his chair to face them. The tips of his fingers touched, forming a steeple, and his eyes were closed as if in meditation. When he opened them, he looked between all three girls as he gave his explanation.
"My apologies for the power shortage," he said. "But I was so close to figuring out where the Normbots get their source of power, and got a little carried away and used up all of our power. That was the cause for the shortage this morning."
Gretchen gave a low groan. It would take at least two days to reboot the much-needed power they used. Dr. Baljeet's work took up most of that power, and when he went over his limit, the entire block ended up with a power-outage.
Ginger, however, gave Dr. Baljeet a brilliant smile as she said, "No worries! We'll get the power up and running in no time! Besides, you need as much power as you can get if you're ever going to find a way to defeat Doofenshmirtz." She paused, them reached into her pocket and pulled out five double A batteries. "I brought these. I know it's not much, but at least it's a start, right?"
Dr. Baljeet smiled at her in return.
"No, it is not very much. But it might give us enough power to bring the lights back on! Besides that, all we have to do is…"
Dr. Baljeet turned into a centaur.
"…run away together!" He pulled Ginger onto his back, and they flew off into a rainbow.
"Ginger!"
Ginger's eyes flew open, and saw that Gretchen was shaking her.
"Sorry," she said. She glanced up and saw that Dr. Baljeet had pulled out an accordion and was singing a song. "I was in Baljeetland again," she whispered. Gretchen rolled her eyes, and the two of them, along with the other Fireside girls, got to work on fixing the lighting.
Yup, yup. XD I heart Baljinger!
Review are much apreciated. ;)
