Author's Notes: Vewy, vewy, vewy sad-fic about the Brotherhood. My interpretation on how they feel.

Very angst-very sad. "The Nobodies" by Marilyn Manson

TIDBIT: I don't like Marilyn Manson's music but his lyrics are good. Very depressing.

DISCLAIMER: I DON'T OWN X-MEN: EVOLUTION OR "THE NOBODIES"

Wanda stomped into her bedroom, slamming the door shut. She hurled herself onto her bed.

'Stupid X-Geeks think they're better than us!' Wanda seethed. She threw a hex-bolt at the wall and it hit her boom-box, turning it on. Low, melancholy music began to play, enveloping Wanda and pulsating through the Brotherhood house.

"Today I am dirty
And I want to to be pretty
Tomorrow I know, I'm just dirt
Today I am dirty
And I want to to be pretty
Tomorrow I know, I'm just dirt"
Wanda sang, softly. She put her hands behind her head and closed her eyes.

Pietro rolled his eyes as his sister's somber music. He had heard this song a million times before.

"We are the nobodies
Wanna be somebodies
When we're dead, they'll know just who we are
We are the nobodies
Wanna be somebodies
When we're dead, they'll know just who we are"
Pietro couldn't help but sing along.

Toad stared at his reflection in the cracked mirror, dark circles were under his eyes and his face looked sunken in.

"Yesterday I was dirty
Wanted to be pretty
I know now that I'm forever dirt
Yesterday I was dirty

Wanted to be pretty
I know now that I'm forever dirt"
Todd whispered to his reflection, hearing the melodious words from Wanda's room.

Fred stared at the cereal box in his hand, the chair he was sitting on had broken a long time ago. Fred was sitting on the tiled floor of the Brotherhood's kitchen. Food was scattered all around him, crunching whenever he moved.

"We are the nobodies
Wanna be somebodies
When we're dead, they'll know just who we are
We are the nobodies
Wanna be somebodies
When we're dead, they'll know just who we are"
Fred's barotone voice sang the sorrowful lyrics.

Lance glared at the peeling paint of the living room wall. The tv wasn't recieving reception, thanks to a long scratch on the screen. His thoughts were on the X-Men, they all thought they were so special because they had money, uniforms and a mansion to live in. Rogue and Tabby had been part of the Brotherhood, they were both traitors. Bitches. Kitty had gone for the fuzzy blue ass, dumping Lance in the process. Hearing the loud music coming from Wanda's room, Lance was ready to kick down Wanda's door but he recognised the song.

"Some children died the other day
We fed machines and then we prayed
Puked up and down in morbid faith
You should have seen the ratings that day
Some children died the other day
We fed machines and then we prayed
Puked up and down in morbid faith
You should have seen the ratings that day"
Lance screamed the song, venting out his frustrations.

The Brotherhood members, Nobodies in Arms, sang the last words of the song. Not feeling any better but not feeling any worse.

"We are the nobodies
Wanna be somebodies
When we're dead, they'll know just who we are
We are the nobodies
Wanna be somebodies
When we're dead, they'll know just who we are
We are the nobodies
Wanna be somebodies
When we're dead, they'll know just who we are
We are the nobodies
Wanna be somebodies
When we're dead, they'll know just who we are"

That's it. Read and Review.
