It started out as a symbol of the regime.

People looked at it.

And quivered in fear.

Its angular lines.

The eyes that always stared.

The immortal frown.

It seemed to be everywhere.

Holding everyone hostage.

The sign of oppression.

Of an evil senate.

It was correlated with evil.

When the new symbol arrived.

With it's purple horns.

And slanted glare.

It promised freedom.

And it did, for a short time.

But they became what they sought to destroy.

People panicked.

Many left.

The Great War Started.

Red vs Purple.

It was the new way of life.

Everyone wore a badge.

The red became a symbol of peace again.

And the way it was viewed changed.

The frown became a determined expression.

The constant staring became a steady gaze.

The sharp lines became a foundation in a belief.

The Autobot Belief.

Freedom.

The right of all sentient beings.
