Upon entering the Town Center, Harry could feel the bizarre tension other buildings in this hell lacked. Something wasn't quite right with this particular area...Not that anywhere else in this town was normal but Harry could definitely feel a chill strange even for Silent Hill. He gripped Cybil's handgun tighter to steady his shaking hands. A tiny trickle of sweat slid down his temple, marking the fear he tried to hide in order to think clearly. He needed to remain calm for Cheryl...

The main space in the Center was void of monsters or anything else, really, besides a wall of television screens belonging to the electronics store to Harry's right. Noticing the cave-ins on either side of the escalators, Harry decided the only way to the back end of the Center was up. He cautiously made his way to the escalators. But before he could set one foot on the first step a loud static roar caused him to jump and spin around. All the televisions had turned on at once, fuzzy with static. But Harry could see through all the grey and white blur his daughter, Cheryl, trapped somewhere, a look of terror twisting her tiny face.

"Daddy, help me!" her voice cried through the noise, "Daddy, where are you?"

"Cheryl!" Harry said, stepping toward the screens. But now instead of her face he saw the mark of Samael, what Dahlia Gillespie called it, and other strange markings. The girl from the photo in the hospital's basement also appeared but not nearly as often as the symbols. Harry forced himself to turn away from the screens. They were mocking him. This whole town was laughing at him. I need to find Cheryl, he reminded himself, I need to save my daughter.
