AN: So, I watched my box set last weekend and then Souhi-Mai sent me this song with a simple description; "JANTO!" and thus this fic was born.
If any of you haven't heard it, this song is called "Stay" by Hurts (.com/watch?v=15uFb2wjxjg)

As the opening bars of the song filtered softly through the packed room, Jack took the hand of the man in front of him, one hand going to rest lightly upon his waist as he pulled the Welshman closer and they began to sway in their embrace.
My whole life waiting for the right time
To tell you how I feel.
Know I try to tell you that I need you.
Here I am without you.
I feel so lost but what can I do?
'Cause I know this love seems real
But I don't know how to feel.
Jack sighed softly and closed his eyes, resting his cheek against Iantos. He felt safe like this, in a way which he hadn't felt for such a long time. This felt so... right. A smile played on his lips as he inhaled deeply. He could never get enough of Ianto and his smell was so unique, so him – a mixture of soap, aftershave and a tang of coffee. It was a smell Jack had come to associate with happiness. With safety. With everything he loved about his life and a few of the things he hated.
We say goodbye in the pouring rain
And I break down as you walk away.
Stay, stay.
'Cause all my life I felt this way
But I could never find the words to say
Stay, stay.
Jack laughed softly to himself as he realised how well this song described his – dare he say it? - relationship with Ianto. That really was the only word to describe what they had. An odd, dysfunctional relationship based on betrayal, mistrust and heartbreak./ Yet, it worked so well. Jack and Ianto – it was so right.
Alright, everything is alright
Since you came along
And before you
I had nowhere to run to
Nothing to hold on to
I came so close to giving it up.
And I wonder if you know
How it feels to let you go?
Jack frowned a little as the song came to an abrupt end. When he opened his eyes, he discovered Ianto was no longer with him. In fact, as much as glanced around the once packed room, the Captain realised he was suddenly alone. His eyes flickered with an unreadable emotion and, suddenly, Jack was... Hurt. He hurt deep inside. He was so alone. As he slowly slumped to his knees in the middle of the room, the music cut in again:
Stay with me, stay with me,
Stay with me, stay with me,
Stay, stay, stay, stay with me.
With a gasp, Jack sat up. He had been slumped over a bar either asleep or passed out, he could no longer tell the difference between the two. His mind was a whirlwind, full of the dream and what it could mean. He pressed the heels of his palms to his eyes making stars appear in the blackness of his eyelids. With a deep sigh, he stood up, making his way to the door. Because, Jack Harkness could draw only one thing from that dream – He had to find a way to get Ianto Jones back.
