Kim Possible and Power Rangers: SPD: A Sitch in Time
In the year 2025, in the recesses of space, not far from Earth, Emperor Gruumm, leader of the Troobian Empire, just slept peacefully in his throne room on his Terror Spacecraft, trying to figure out a way to conquer Earth, and destroy his enemies: the Power Rangers Space Patrol Delta. (SPD) It's been awhile since he's cooked up a monster big enough to destroy everything in its path. Now, he just rested, clearly not wanting to be disturbed. But recently, something has happened that caused the Troobian Empire many losses that causes him to awaken.
"Something has happened," Gruumm said to himself, his eyes glowing with rage. He knew that it was horrible for him and the whole empire. He called for his most trustful ally. "Broodwing! In here, now!" Broodwing then entered the throne room. He was Gruumm's most trustful ally, despite ranging heft prices for his services, which Gruum actually liked to do. "I sense a disturbance. Have we launched an full scale invasion onto Earth?"
"No my sire. Why do you ask that?" Broodwing asked curiously. "Are finally winning the battle for once? If we are, this calls for a celebration." Gruum muttered to himself, but Broodwing heard it, giving him a clear picture that something was terribly wrong.
"As much great as that would sound, I sensed that every single one of our Krybots have been eliminated, down to the last one." Gruumm said. Broodwing froze with terror as he thought that it had to be the Power Rangers, about to tightened their victory onto Gruumm and the whole empire. "And it's not because of the Power Rangers." Broodwing became confused when his employer said that. "There's another presence. A much more evil presence..."
"Why that's just plain foolish, sire. Who in the whole entire galaxy could be more evil than you? After all, you're the only one who pays me more than what my prices are worth." Broodwing said, causing Gruumm to growl at him. "Sorry about that. I didn't mean to insult your intelligence. I believe you. Truly, sire." Then, Mora, Gruumm's child assistant, came into the room, having been awoken from a nap.
"What's with all the yelling and growling?" Mora asked as she rubbed her eyes. "I'm trying to sleep! I know we're villains wanting to conquer the Earth, but can a little alien girl get some rest around here?!"
"Well we're very sorry we awoke you from your nap, Mora," Gruumm said sarcastically, making Mora growl back at him. "But as you can see, almost all of our Empire has been destroyed by a force more powerful than the Power Rangers." Mora smiled as she thought somebody has actually destroyed the Power Rangers.
"You mean they're actually dead?" Mora asked gleefully. Gruumm growled at her, basically meaning no. "OK. They're not dead. But, who would want to wipe out our entire army of Krybots? We're the only villains in this galaxy who wants the stupid Earth. After all, it's puny." Gruumm and Broodwing looked at each other. Mora could be a handful sometimes, but they needed her services as they were useful to their mission to conquer the Earth.
"Would you like me to help you search for the one responsible for the deaths of our troops? It'll cost you though. Three times more than what I charge actually." Broodwing said, before Gruumm senses another disturbance heading towards Earth.
"We'll figure that out later. You two must make more troops this instant!" Gruumm yelled, shooing Broodwing and Mora out of his throne room. "I sense the presence that plans to challenge me is heading towards Earth, about to conquer the entire city and Space Patrol Delta. Well then, if their leader wants a fight, he already has it. I will never accept defeat! NEVER!" Gruumm laughed evilly to himself, feeling confident in his plans, not knowing what was really happening.
At Mobile Command, the HQ of Space Patrol Delta, Dr. Katherine Manx made her way around the building with her assistant Boom in tow behind her, doing mop duties. She was on her way to talk to Commander Anubis Cruger, leader of SPD and the SPD Shadow Ranger. The B-Squad Power Rangers were missing, needed for a training exercise. Kat made her way into Cruger's office. "Morning Commander. Have you seen the other Rangers?" Katherine asked.
"They've left." Cruger simply replied. Kat was angry at that, knowing that they were missing a training exercise about to start in less than an hour. "Enjoying themselves at the mall, getting food at the food court no doubt."
"Sir, would you mind telling them that they have a training exercise in 0:40 minutes, and if they don't get back here in that time, their jobs would be on the line?" Kat asked with her brow furrowed. Cruger held up his hand, basically telling Kat to cool down.
"I was the one who gave them permission. They have the day off." Cruger said. Both Kat and Boom were confused as to why their Commander would just give the Power Rangers a day off all of the sudden, with him being strict and all. "Sometimes, the best way to make yourself a better Power Ranger is to eliminate any stress from your life, giving time for themselves. Therefore, a day off is needed every once in a while."
Boom was able to catch that part of their conversation and smiled. "Speaking of which, Commander, when can I have a day off?" Boom asked eagerly, earning him glares from both Kat and Cruger.
"When you clean up all your messes." Cruger growled. Boom got the picture quickly and went back to mopping. Kat just smiled playfully at her assistant.
"Well Commander, you couldn't have picked a more beautiful time to give the Rangers time off." Kat said, going over reports for today. "There have been a record number of zero disturbances. The first time in over two weeks. Everything in the city is calm and collected. The makings of a perfect day."
"Yes. Thank you for your reports Dr. Manx." Cruger said as Kat left. He then frowned glumly as he knew something that the other's don't. "But I fear that it's just the calm before the storm. Something's coming..." Cruger shook his doggy body with terror and worry, knowing at a new threat was on the horizon.
At the outdoor food court at the mall, Jack Landors, Sky Tate, Bridge Carson, Z, and Sydney Drew were all enjoying lunch together, loving the break they got from their duties as B-Squad Power Rangers. Not that they didn't love their duties. It just got exhausting sometimes. "You know what would be genius?" Bridge, SPD Green Ranger asked while eating a taco. "If someone combined a taco with nacho chips and cheese. Two beautiful Mexican foods combined into one true edible beauty."
The rest of the Rangers slowly put down their lunches. Bridge was very smart, but he was also weird. Not that they had a problem with that. "What would you call it?" Z, SPD Yellow Ranger asked with a smirk.
"I don't really know." Bridge said, thinking out loud. "Maybe a Naco. Nah, that name's probably already taken. Don't want to copyright and get in legal trouble."
"Well, whatever you call it, you'll probably be commended for creating a new kind of fast food no doubt." Jack, SPD Red Ranger said with a smile. Bridge smiled at that. "Hey Syd, want a bite of my burrito? They messed it up. It has all veggies in it."
"No thanks. I'll stick to my salad." Syd said, taking another bite of her food. "I mean I would love a veggie filled burrito, but I'm still watching carbs and calories. You can't be too careful when dealing with that type of stuff. Sometimes foods that they say are healthy and organic actually aren't."
Jack took a look at his fellow teammate Sky, SPD Blue Ranger. "Only a bottle of water? Don't tell me you're watching your weight too." Jack joked.
"No. I'm just not hungry. I'll eat later." Sky said, looking rather sad. The other Rangers looked concerned for their teammate. Sky noticed their looks and sighed. "What? I'm not hungry! Is that something to cause a intervention or take me to therapy? I'm fine!"
"Don't hide it, Sky. We know it's coming up soon. The 25th." Syd said. Sky sighed again as his teammate said that.
"What's coming up again on the 25th?" Bridge asked, causing the other Rangers glared at Bridge. "Oh wait! It's the anniversary of his dad's..." Bridge froze as he remembered about Bridge's father, Wes Collin's, Red Time Force Ranger, the prototype version of Space Patrol Delta. One day while on a mission, Wes has met his demise, with his partner Eric, the Quantum Ranger, delivering his helmet to his grieving wife and son. That day has sadden Sky a whole lot. Ever since he was a child, he wanted to be like his father: the Red Ranger. "I'm sorry Sky."
"It's cool." Sky said, not wanting to talk about it. "I'll get through it. Like every other year." He was about to get off from his seat when Jack put a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"We're all here for you. You should know that." Jack said. Sky smiled at that before he looked up at the sky and saw something that caused him to be concerned. Jack and the other Ranger noticed it too. Then, there was a movement of what appeared to be soldiers, all decked in green jump suits, marching into the street with weapons. "Something's happening. I don't think those are Krybots."
"Yeah. No duh." Z said, sarcastically. "Clearly, this must be the work of new baddie."
"Man, green is not a good color." Syd said, disgusted by the green jumpsuits. She then remembered Bridge was standing next to her. "No offense, Bridge. I was talking about them. Not you. Believe me."
"I get it. Apparently, they took green and made it evil with those conformity jumpsuits." Bridge said, not offended.
"Obey the Supreme one, or face death." The soldiers in the green jumpsuits all said. The Rangers became concerned when they said that.
"Supreme One? That never sounds good. This is not Gruumm's work." Sky said. "Jack, should we morph now?"
"No. Not yet. We better get back to HQ. Hopefully Cruger might have an idea as to what's going on. If they start causing trouble, then we'll jump into action. Come on." Jack said, leading the other out of the food court and back to Mobile Command
