Kurenai could have sworn festivals were meant to be fun. Not only did she get dressed in a maroon kimono and prepped up for her crush, Asuma had the galls to 'cancel' the date. The nerve of men!She already hated men, but this moment really sealed the deal..

He was crouched trying to catch a fish in the net, a simple but challenging game. The kiddie-ness of the game and his all-out overflowing attitude was actually making her chuckle. "Hey miss." Her thoughts stopped when her eyes looked down to see a very fox like face. He waved to her to come lean in, like he was about to spill the hottest gossip. Bullshit was all she could think this corny plan. But what had she got to lose really. She bent down and gave the sly fox a light kiss on his whiskers, a cherry lip print stuck boldly on his face. To her shock, instead of boasting how he got a kiss from the 'ice princess' he ran his way back to the booth. Pulling out his frog purse, he paid for one last round.
UN freaking believable, two fish were caught in the shady net like they were born to do it! Rebellious, the man gave him a giant fox plush and fox ANBU mask. She was too stunned to see spunky boy right in front of her with a million dollar smile.
"Thanks Mrs., you were a big help! And a soft kiss from a beautiful woman deserves a soft gift." Handing the fox plushy to Kurenai, she held onto it in shock, not expecting any of this. With laughter he sped off, strapping the ANBU mask to his face and flowing through the sea of people, leaving a baffled Kurenai. But soon smirked and held the stuffed toy tight with a smile.
