Monster Hunter: Tales of a new hunt

Basically, a story of my MH characters as well as my friends characters. Each of them having their own goals and ways to achieve them

first attempt at uploading, and this is also a prologue

If you are reading this, i expect you to have at least some knowledge of Mh, ill try to explain but i promise, nothing

Genesis of the hunt

Long ago, before these harsh times there was a peaceful kingdom, completely isolated from any other. This kingdom had a peculiar trait, within the kingdom, there were people who lived and farmed, married and died just like everyone beyond their home, these people where special however, they lived amongst fierce creatures, ravaging flying beasts know as wyverns. The people depended on these wyverns for survival, for food, for clothing and trading fodder, thus they were dubbed wyverinians.

In the beginning nearly any wyvern could be captured with ease if the need arose, but as these people began to multiply and build towns, more and more wyverns were necessary to sustain a comfortable lifestyle. With the expansion of towns the wyverns numbers were strain and evolution began to take it course, the weakest creatures were captured and taken away while the strong remained and bred a new generation of even stronger wyverns. Eventually wyverns became impossible to capture for the average wyverinian. As you could image the entire kingdoms economy became unstable, without wyverns there could be no trading with other towns or the capital. Chaos spread across the land, as business closed, jobs lost, and the people grew hungry. Seeing his people in such agony, King Euviul II began to take action. Sending his own army to defeat these beast proved costly, financially and morally.

When all hope seemed lost, a hero arose. A young man, cladded in glistening silver armor plating and a blade easily twice his own weight. The citizens looked in awe, not at the young man but what lay just behind him. A small army of cats pulling on a wagon that tethered the largest wyvern any citizen had ever seen. Together the young man and the king created an organization, who's sole purpose was to protect the kingdom from every threat possible. This organization was called The Guild. The Guild hired men and women from across the kingdom and payed them to kill and retrieve wyverns. Thus The Monster Hunter was born.
