There is silence. Night has fallen. The busy bodies of day have lain down to rest. On this hour, sleep has overcome. The Serenity is tranquil.
In one room, Mal holds onto his love as they dream. Simon subconsciously hopes they get many hours together before they must rise again. Their dreams intertwine and smiles come to their lips.
Down the hall, River cuddles up to her man. Jayne would never admit it but, he like to cuddle just as much. Their hearts soar together in the land of dreams.
Across the corridor, Wash spoons the holder of his heart. Zoe nuzzles her husband. Their love will always be for the other.
And the night goes on aboard Serenity.
