Paulina

"Lala!" whined someone. I kept walking,"Lala! I don't think it's safe. Let's go home." I just kept walking. "Lala! Look out!" I felt myself being pushed and I tripped on a branch and fell into a hole under a tree. I turned myself around and I saw deep ocean blue eyes.

"Paulina! Wake up! It's just a nightmare!" someone yelled at me shaking me. In my shocked state I was in I punched them and of course I break my hand in the process.

I open my eyes to see my dads worried ones as I cradled my injured hand. "Thanks a lot dad." I said sarcastically.

"Let's get you to the hospital." my dad said.

On our way to the hospital my dad asked,"So, what did you dream about?" He looked at me expectantly.

I sighed,"The same thing. The forest, someone calling me, blue eyes." I saw sadness in his eyes. I don't know why it's just nightmares that feels like it should mean something to me. "Dad did something happened to me when I was little?"

I saw panic in his eyes and then as fast as it came it was gone. "No. Nothing happened to you. But if you count the tree fall then yes." He smiled at me. I just looked out the window cradling my injured hand.

"Well, it's not broken." the doctor said,"Just sprained."

"That's good to hear." my dad said. The doctor wrapped rm up and told me to not use my arm for a month. We went to the car and drove home.

"Paul, what happened." my mom said as she saw my hand.

"It's ok mom. I just punched dad is all." My mom looked at hand and looked at my dad and at the hand again then sighed.

"Well, don't hit your dad anymore. Ok?" I nodded my head and went upstairs and went to sleep. On my way upstairs I hear my dad tell mom that he was going out far awhile.

Paul

"What are you doing here." I growled out. I was standing in the middle of an opening in the forest.

"I just wanted see her." a soft voice said.

"You made a deal not to see her." I grounded out.

"No, we made a deal to make sure that she doesn't hurt your loved ones." a tall man stepped out from the shadows. He was a tall man 6'8. He was light skinned with shaggy brown hair and forest green eyes. He was wearing a gray tangtop and tan shorts. "Your daughter wasn't hurt ... Well accept that she hurt herself by punching you." he chuckled,"and she," he jestered to the young women behind him,"wasn't by herself either. I was with her the whole time."

"Fine. You made your point." I looked at the shadow figure behind the man, then I looked at the tall man in the eye and said,"How is her training?"

The tall man laughed then said," She still needs a talkin."

I cut him off,"That's all I need to know." The man was chuckling again and I was starting to shake a little.

"Well, I guess its time for us to go." He turned around and disappeared into the forest. The smaller shadow staid behind and said,"Bye, uncle Paul." and then disappeared into the forest.

I turned and went home. I was at the edge of the forest to my home. I stopped and rested my back against a tree and I let out a half sob and half chuckle."You're still the same Zero from when you were little right?" I said as I remembered thoughs deep ocean blue eyes.
