This idea came to me after I read Breaking dawn. I wondered about Tanya's story that Carlisle had talked about. We never really got any answers. This is Tanya's story about her mother and sisters.

Betrayal
Preface
I stood on the hill at the back of our small house that overlooked the French countryside. I gazed out over the seemingly, never-ending, expanse of pure beauty that stretched toward the sunset, waiting for her return. I did this every evening. But, my hope dwindled night after night.
Then, all of a sudden, the light breeze shifted and I was hit with the strong smell of vampire. This was not the scent I had been desperate for though. And I quickly realized there was more than one. Three, from the smell of it. As if on cue my sisters stood by me simultaneously. The strong scent had caught their attention from inside the house. They were there just in time to see the three cloaked figures emerge from the tiny forest to the north. One's cloak was coal black. The other two were tiny and dressed in gray. The smaller of the two looked up from the hood that covered her head. I took in her bright, ruby red eyes and a shiver a fear shot up my spine.
We were going to die.
