The Hawk and The Blue Jay

Prologue

There was a girl, in a cell. She was 11 years old, and had never seen the outside world. She had been kept inside this building for her whole life. The people here gave her education, they also experimented on her, she didn't know what to call these people, and they wore lab-coats, and talked about her like she was an experiment, in which she was. She started calling them 'scientist', because scientist did experiments.

If you looked at her back you could see feathers, the girl had wings, but yet she did not know how to fly, she had never been given the chance too. Her wings were white, with patches of brown, the girl pulled out a feather, it was big, and she could now see blue in her feathers, whatever experiment she had just gone under left some physical changes. This girl didn't have the X-gene, but yet she was mutant, a normal human whose DNA had been tampered with, leaving her 98% human, and 2% bird, her bones were lighter and she had air sacs, she was born to fly, not like those pilots who said that, she was literally made to fly. This girl was also a lot stronger, faster and smarter than any other human, her senses were enhanced, giving her vision like an eagle, and hearing like a wild animal.

Little did she know that she had just been injected with a remake of the 'super soldier serum' used on Captain America. And she later on figured out that it didn't have the effect the scientist's wanted. As if on cue, the girl pulled out her hands, her brow furrowed, clearly concentrating, her hands then glowed a vibrant blue, it looked like fire, but it was more of an energy, there was nothing like it in the world, the girl scowled, anger written on her face. The girls eyes were the same bright blue, they used to be a dark, almost black, brown. The blue faded, leaving her alone, as she has been for the past 11 years, in the dark and silent room.
