A Fiolee story Chapter1
"I'm sorry Fionna but I don't like you that way …you are just too childish. Maybe if you were old it would work out."Fionna just stood there eyes wide open trying to comprehend what was happening. Cristal droplets started to form in the corners of her eyes.
"Gumball…I…b-but aren't we frie" she was cut off by Gumball placing his hands on her small weak shoulders covered by her normal light blue long-sleeved shirt. Fionna slowly looked up at him, her eyes full of pain but they still held a small amount of hope.
Gumball looked straight into her eyes and opened his mouth, "I'm sorry Fionna." He removed his hands from her shoulders as he turned no longer facing the girl. He took one step forward then stopped "Come back when you are older and more mature." He said in a very cold and mean voice then walked away leaving the small girl to pick up the pieces of her now broken heart alone.
Fionna fell to the cold ground. She cradled herself burying her face into her knees. As she cried it began to rain. "I-I'm j-just a child to him?" she chocked "I thought … thought we were friends?" Fionna sat on the cold wet ground as her sobs grew louder. "F-Fi... are you okay?" Kind worried voice asked. She raised her head to face the vampire king as he placed his hands on her shoulders.
Without thinking she threw herself unto Marshal and embraced him sobbing into his quickly returned her embrace. He then started to try and calm the sobbing girl down. He rubbed her back and began singing. The song was peaceful and calming, completely full of emotion. She felt at peace in is strong yet gentle hold. She slowly stopped crying but still held onto the singing vampire. The rain stopped as soon as Fionna stopped crying. She then silently fell asleep.
Marshal then carefully picked her up and flew passed the glowing full moon to his cave. He flew in his house and gently placed the sleeping girl on his bed. Marshal then sat by the bed and lightly brushed away her wet bangs from her face. "Fi, if that stupid Gumbutt hurt you again I swear I will kill him." Marshal sighed and looked at the sleeping girl then lightly placed his lips to her forehead. "Fi I love you. Why can't you see that?"
